Shore jumped quickly after Ralf. "I hope they do accept us!" she meowed. She felt a tingle of excitement and and felt good as the grass tingled her paws. "I think I'll like this life. What about you Ralf?" she asked.

"Of course I do! This life will show me that my life is something different then from when my father died." he growled. He didn't like the talk about his father's death and he new Shore would probably ask how he died.
Maddie turned her head around and over her shoulder. "Blake was attacked by a starving a died protecting Ralf and I." she made it short and sweet, not putting in any details. She new Ralf had a hard time remembering about his father and talking about it. She trotted along and sniffed the air.

Shore paused for a minute. "Oh. That's...." she trailed off, not wanting to hurt Ralf or Maddie, "Well, how do we get there, Maddie? I want to be there soon!" She started running again and matched Ralf's pace. She inched towards Ralf with every step she took until her fur was brushing against Ralf's. "I love you." she whispered in Ralf's ear.

Ralf smiled at Shore and licked her cheek. "I love you too, I'll be by your side at every moment." His promise made his heart, as so it felt, burst up and go to Starclan. A promise is a promise, no matter what happens.
Maddie started to smell clan sent. "We are close." she meowed.
