Dawn Light stopped and looked at Raven's Thorn. "We're fine! Can't we play, for one, with out someone asking us if we're alright?" she yowled, playfully, to her mentor. She turned back to Thistle Wing and prepared to pounce on her. "No, you'll pay for this!" she yowled back to Thistle Wing.

Amber Leaves opened her eyes slowly and looked around the den. Her eyes were still fluttering, but she stood up and left the den. She looked around the camp and saw play-fighting learners. She walked over to them and yowled, "What are you two doing? You could be doing something productive instead of something useless!" She hissed and sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws. Looking towards Raven's Thorn, she meowed, "Raven's Thorn! Why aren't you doing something about your learner? I mean, this is completely useless and gets nothing done. She could be hunting!" She shook her head and quieted down.

Dawn Light backed away from the yelling member. "I'm sorry, Amber Leaves. I'll do better next time." she whimpered. Her tail drooped down and she walked away, ashamed. She slowly entered the learners' den and stared at her paws. "Why do I have to be so stupid?" she asked herself.

Raven's Thorn narrowed her eyes, then walked straight up to Amber Leaves. Her sightless gaze was fixed on Amber Leaves. The two's noses were barely touching. "We're waiting for what Long Cloud says," Raven's Thorn meowed through clenched teeth. Can't you see that you're not supposed to tell someone older than you what to do, you...you... She then cautiously stepped away. "I've got my eye on you."
"Wow. There goes Raven's Thorn, her temper almost getting the better of her," Thistle Wing sighed in relief. "She's kinda like that sometimes." Then, she turned to Dawn Light, grinning. She rushed into the learners' den, about to knock her friend over.
Good. At least some of our learners understand how to have fun, Raven's Thorn told herself contentedly.

Amber Leaves grunted and turned away. "Oh, it doesn't matter how old you are!" she turned back and meowed, as if she had read Raven's Thorn's mind, "You could be the oldest cat in the whole Guild and I wouldn't give a care! Just control your learner!" She stared into the cat's eyes and grunted again.

Dawn Light listened to the two cats outside. "They both sound really angry. Amber Leaves is being very disrespectful to the advisor!" she yowled, loud enough to be heard all around camp. "Oops." She went to her nest and settled in, pretending to sleep.

Long Cloud's eyes narrowed at Amber Leaves and with his soft voice he reproached her. "Amber Leaves. Could you refrain from talking to your Advisor like that. As a senior member of this Guild she gets our respect. Perhaps you could take the learners hunting?" He turned away from her, unhappy at having to tell somebody off. The tom squirmed uncomfortably, as if trying to shake off the blanket of authority that hung over him. "Anyway," he meowed to the older cats, forcing a smile as he spoke. "These signs I've been seeing. I think something is coming to the Guild. Something that's being hunted possibly."
{Tsk tsk Amber Leaves. You made Long Cloud have to be bossy xD}

(That's what my cats do. Lol...I love cats like that)
Amber Leaves heard Dawn Light's yowl and slowly padded to the learners' den. "Excuse me? Come on. We're going hunting. Both of you. It's better than fooling around." she meowed, walking back out of the learners' den. She shook her head and waited for the learners.

Howling Wind sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws, his tail twitching absentmindely. He glanced from Amber Leaves to Long Cloud. He fore one knew responsibilty was not always the fun part of the job. As Long Cloud restated his thoughts, he looked up to the sky thoughtfully. "Mmm, sounds interesting. What could they be running from...?" He almost asked the question without thinking and not exactly to anyone in particular. When he got lost in thought...his thoughts came out.

Rain Storm's eyes fluttered open and he mewed in surprise, hopping to his feet. He turned his troubled blue eyes to the sky, ears flattening as he saw how low the sun was. Oh, good going his mind reprimanded him, the tom wincing as he looked about. The sun wasn't that much lower. It was only about a fraction lower than it had been when he last checked. He nodded and, his nap catching up with, yawned and stretched his front legs, tail and rump rising in the air.

"They could be running from anything," Raven's Thorn meowed. She turned her head to look at Amber Leaves. Her eyes narrowed, and her mind was boiling with anger. "Don't be so bossy to our learners. I'll take Dawn Light out later." Maybe, if we go out hunting, I can claw your pretty little fur off. Raven's Thorn shook her head in dismay, then looked back at Long Cloud.
"Maybe they're running from another group of...whatever they are."

Long Cloud flicked his tail across his paws. "Perhaps," he meowed, nodding at Raven's Thorn's idea. Whatever that was coming could be running from anything. The Guide shook his head and smiled reassuringly at the older cats. "Well, it cannot be too bad if Whistling Wind is leading them. Perhaps our Guild is to be brought good fortune from this event?" Long Cloud was trying not to worry about the signs and instead create calm amongst his members. He didn't want them thinking they were in any danger. Afterall, it was his job to protect them.

"Yes, it's probably a good sign." Raven's Thorn sat there for a few minutes, then an idea popped into her head. "Maybe they're actual cats! Not dead, but real, living cats! I mean, cats eat fish..."

Howling Wind looked to Long Cloud with a nod, knowing full well the Guide wasn't sure of any of these answers but was reassurring them all the same. "Of course, Whistling Wind was a good cat, he wouldn't bring us danger." he said in agreement, then chuckled at Raven's Thorn's comment. "Yes, living cats would be much better and yes they do." he said with a smile at the thought.

Long Cloud blinked, stunned at the idea. Cats from outside the Guild? Was that even possible? Of course, he had heard stories about the first cats who had formed the Guild, that they lived beyond the hills, but nobody had any reason to travel far enough to find them. "They would have to come a long way," he commented. "Over the seasons we've moved further and further, exploring this land, but we've never seen other cats. "

Rain Storm perked his ears. Other cats? He lifted his head, turning to look at Long Cloud. He blinked his big blue eyes, tail twitching. He stood and limped on over, wincing as his leg began to ache. He just hoped and prayed that it wasn't dogs that were coming to the Guild. He hesitated for a moment, blinking, before turning away and hobbling to his den. He needed to check up on the stocks. He may need to restock on a few things.

That's a pretty mousebrained idea you've got there, Raven's Thorn, the blind she-cat told herself. Now, why don't you come up with something more...sensible? She shook her head in disappointment. "It's not exactly like I meant it, but it could be a possibility," she sighed, tucking her chin into her chest.
But there could be other cats out there. There just could.

Long Cloud shook his head at Raven's Thorn. "It's a fine idea," he told her softly," It fits the signs." He hadn't meant to upset her and, now feeling uncomfortable, he rose to his paws and gave each one a delicate shake. "I'm going to go think this over. I'm feel like a drink and the stream in the forest always looks so calm...," the Guide told the cats, a dreamy look crossing his face. His head was in the clouds again.

"You look a little light-headed there, Long Cloud," Raven's Thorn mewed nervously. "Shouldn't you go see Rain Storm about that?" She turned her head, seeing that Rain Storm was right with them.
"Oh, heh-heh. There he is."

"Hmm?" Long Cloud blinked slowly, not registering what Raven's Thorn had said. He looked over his shoulder at her, wondering what it was that she had asked. Something about heads, perhaps? "I was day-dreaming," he meowed, ears blushing red. "I'm afraid I completely missed what you said, Raven's Thorn. I'm so sorry."

"I said that you seem to be dozing off again. You should go see Rain Cloud about that..." Raven's Thorn's voice faded away as she looked down at her paws. Maybe it's that he hasn't gotten enough sleep? she wondered. How could that be?

((Neya, I hope I can roleplay now))
Misty Dream scrambled exhaustedly towards the half-gathered Guild with haste. As soon as she reached them, she padded towards Raven's Thorn and spoke, her words muffled by the body of a plump brown mouse she had caught on her trip back to the Guild from the forest " Sorry, I didn't know we were going to have a meeting. I left to go hunting." she said, dropping her catch on the soft new grass that smelled so rich and full of moisture. " Has something happened?" She gazed around the gathering of cats, locking onto Long Cloud's blue eyes momentarily before hastily looking at her mouse. Oops, I did it ... again she thought, trying to block out those eyes with a memory of seeing a dead fox's carcass lying in the undergrowth, it's eye sockets were sucked in and it's whole face just looked horribly mutilated in general. She winced just the tiniest bit and then wondered whether she would still be able to eat her mouse and keep it down after that. She turned herself back to reality then. Her black tail curled a bit as she laid down in the grass, her ears facing no specific place in general, fur shining like the ripples of black waves of water in the sun. Her paws were tucked just under her chest and her tail curled around her in a position of comfort as she waited, and listened. The scent of spring thick in her nose.

Once again, Long Cloud was jolted from his thoughts and it took him a moment to realise what had caused this. The familiar scent of the member Misty Dream reached his nose and he smiled to himself. An echo in his head told him that she had asked a question and he blinked his blue eyes slowly as he tried to recall what it had been. "I did it again didn't I?" he meowed, his ears blushing red. "You're all talking and I've missed it. I'm sorry. All I can hear is water trickling in the stream...My mind has reached there before I have! If it's important to you I could stay awhile longer." He glanced over at the camp entrance, eager to stroll through the surrounding forest and sit by the stream but his duties as Guild leader came first. I'm doing it again. I must focus. Raven's Thorn is an Advisor and Misty Dream is a member of this Guild! I must listen to them.

"Well, it wouldn't hurt if Misty Dream joined us in our conversation, would it, Long Cloud?" Raven's Thorn asked, grinning. Her ribs barely showed through her slender, black body. They moved vigorously. "I'm becoming quite the old cat, aren't I?" Raven's Thorn laughed, looking down at her heaving chest.

" Someday soon, we'll all be old cats. I hope we all are able to enjoy our lives while we have them still. That also includes the elders ..." she paused. Her ear twitched a bit to the sound of a small leaf landing in the grass beside her. They already know that she announced to herself in her mind. She could not wait for green-leaf to come in. Lying in patches of wildflowers growing in the forest, on the hillside and near the stream. Butterflies would dance gracefully through the air while bees polenated the flowers and made sweet tasting honey in their hives. She broke herself from her thoughs with a happy little twinkle in her eye, as if she was just awakening from a dream about eating hundreds of mice and drinking lakefuls of honey. She sighed in satisfaction and continued on speaking " It's okay Long Cloud, I'd think it very hard not to be swept away by dreams on a beautiful day like this one, I was just dreaming myself. Of green-leaf and pleasant things. Well, anyways. I don't want to be a bother, and I don't think an apology is needed really, I don't mind at all" she said. Her long black whiskers twitiching faintly.

Raven's Thorn sighed, tapping her tail on Misty Dream's ear. "Yes, green-leaf is a very pleasant thing," she concluded after a long pause. Her sightless eyes stared in a blank gaze up at the sky. "But it's leaf-bare right now. Leaf-bare is a hard season for some of us, but I, personally, think the snow and the icicles are quite pretty. Icicles add a bit of decoration to our trees..."

{Actually, it's near the end of leaf-bare c: Otherwise, it'll mess up the FrostClan invasion. It's just a beautiful day, that's all.}
A small smile spread across Long Cloud's face at Misty Dream's words. "It is lovely isn't it?" he purred. His tail flicked lazily, displaying his contentment. "But I don't believe leaf-bare is over yet. The weather is warm but I see clouds on the horizon." He yawned widely and took a few more steps towards the camp entrance. He flicked his tail at the younger she-cat, gesturing for her to follow. "I still feel awful. If you want, Misty Dream, we can catch-up by the stream in the forest. Raven's Thron has already heard all my rantings. She deserves a sleep in the sun," the Guide meowed.

A cold chill seemed to whoosh silently through the air, and sent a chill up Raven's Thorn's spine. But it was over in a few seconds, and Raven's Thorn laid down on the ground, her tail up in the air. "We all need a good rest, don't we?" she murmured drowsily, her eyelids fluttering.

Misty Dream felt her pelt grow hot, but she stood up smiling " Sure, I'd love to come. I haven't seen the stream for quite a while now anyways. "So long had she had not been there, she did not know whether the stream was frozen over still or not. She smiled at Raven's Thorn " Yes. Rest is a way to get ready for another day."

Long Cloud closed his eyes in contentment, tails swishing in the sun. "Goodbye Raven's Thorn!" he purred. He opened his light blue eyes to blink lazily at Misty Dream before padding out into the forest. "It's lovely, I assure you," he told her. "Of course, the water is freezing but it's so clear. Oh, I cannot wait until you see it." He was unsure whether Misty Dream saw life his way but at times he enjoyed sharing his ideas with someone. The cats listening before struggled to follow his conversation and it almost frustrated him. Oh well, I'm sure they will understand later. {I'll make a board at The Stream C: }
