((Very true, but I did want to see Faunus' reaction to that. :] ))
Hawkstar nodded to this suggestion. "Applesong would be a good mentor." he agreed, looking to Faunus. He remembered when Honeyfrost had attacked him. It was when Hawkstar was still deputy and had followed Orchidtail to the marshes, one of the most dangerous places. That was when he met Faunus, who told him of Honeyfrost's actions. "She has changed Faunus, Owlfoot is always with her, he's a good example. And she is a good warrior. But no, I'll listen to you on this Faunus. Applesong shall mentor Heronkit." he said decidedly, nodding to his friend. "And how about Rainwing and Ravenclaw for the mentors of Fawnkit and Littlekit?"

"I know," Faunus sighed reluctantly," But everytime I see her my pelt still crawls." He shuddered as he remembered how she had pinned him down on the grass, how cold her blue eyes had been. Even if she was stuck to Owlfoot like a burr caught in your pelt he would always remember her as the cat who had made him run. Orchidtail's voice shook him from his thoughts. "Are you going to make Tussockpaw a warrior then, seeing how Ravenclaw is his mentor?"

((-headdesk- Gosh this mentor business is trickier than it looks. I didn't even realize, but I shall make it work! xD))
Hawkstar flicked his friend's shoulder with his tail warmly. "It's alright Faunus, I understand." he responded lightly, smiling and nodding. Then he looked towards his mate, his smile widening. "Yes. I was thinking it was about time for him to become a warrior. And I'm sure Ravenclaw wouldn't mind another apprentice, he did very well with Tussockpaw." he said, thinking of what was to come. New warriors and apprentices. Rainclan was getting along fine.

Faunus smiled at Hawkstar. "Tussockpaw has been in training for awhile hasn't he?" Orchidtail nodded, he had started his training at the same time as Sunpaw, her apprentice. Faunus had helped train Sunpaw also, which in the end had led to her death. Orchidtail was pleased that Tussockpaw would become a warrior but the memory of his sister still made her heart ache. The golden she-cat should be getting her warrior name with him. Faunus saw Orchidtail's face and gave her a warm smile.
