Desertflower missed the isolation of the nursery and padded out from the warriors den. It was just too crowded for her.
She gazed up at the night sky and bather in the light of the fulll moon. Full moon?!
"WE FOGOT THE GATHERING!!!" the queen yowled loudly.
There was a few starts from the dens. She burst into the wariors den and began promptly standing on each cat to rouse them from their sleep.
Honeyfrost snarled and batted the queens legs. "Sit down," she meowed, her voice coated with sleep.
"THE GATHERING!" Desertflower yowled.
"Gathering...nah," Honeyfrost murmured. She sat up and peered through the bramble wall. A full moon was clearly visable. She gasped and fell onto Foxeyes behind her. "You go now," Desertflower demanded," I'll wake these cats up while Tussockpaw and Maplepaw wake the rest of the cats." Honeyfrost nodded and ran out of camp.
Desertflower stumbled out after her and woke her kits.
"Tussockpaw," she ordered," Follow Honeyfrost to the Gathering."
The apprentice nodded sleepily and stumbled out of the den.
"Maplepaw. I've woken the warriors. You go wake Hawktalon, Blizzardstar and Silvercreek."
Maplepaw nodded and dashed out from the den. She yowled into the Blizzardstar's den and bit her mentors tail and quickly headed to the deputies den. She was about to meow wake up when she noticed he wasn't there. "Hawktalon's not here!" she yowled to her mother."
"What?!" Desertflower screeched," He was here this morning..."
But hadn't returned. She ran to the warriors den and tried to spot the white spotless fur of Orchidtail. The she-cat wasn't there. She let out an angry growl and tried once again to wake the warriors.
Maplepaw left the deputies den and instead moved to the medicine cat den. "Silvercreek?" she called as she pushed past the ivy into the she-cats den. She could smell herbs but no Silvercreek. She wasn't there either. Maplepaw closed her eyes and tried to calm her nerves down. She remembered seeing her talking to Blizzardstar and arguing with Honeyfrost. Then she left. Maplepaw shakily opened her eyes.
"Desertflower...Silvercreek is gone...," she meowed, her voice shaking.
Desertflower groaned. "I don't have time for this! I have to go. Wait here." She turned and left the camp.
Maplepaw stood in the middle of the camp not knowing what to do.
"Starclan...help me please!" she meowed out to the sky.
