Icestar was sitting in her den, sharing tounges with Stormcloud. "We need to know what Frostclan is up too, they're too quiet." Stormcloud meowed. Icestar sat up. "We have to do something, get Foxflame."
"Why Foxflame?" Stormcloud meowed, confused. "Because I apprenticed him, I know what he can do to get around things, instead of over."
"Over is quicker." Stormcloud growled. "Get him," Icestar snapped.
Stormcloud walked into the clearing and poked his head into a large hole. "Foxflame?" He wasn't in the warrior's den. Then he sniffed the air. "Fresh-kill pile." He walked over to the warrior. "Icestar needs you in her den." He meowed.

Foxflame's ears twitched as he heard a cat approach and looke up. He had just put down his fresh-kill from his short hunting trip. This had been his first out of camp since his sister died, and hunting at that. His heart still wasn't fully in it. That's why all he had caught was one vole, plump, but just one. The tom still wasn't 100% ok. With Ambercloud's help, he was getting better. But Bramblethorn's death had hit him hard. Seeing Stormcloud, he was about to meow a greeting when the other spoke. He blinked in surprise. "Icestar?" What did his old mentor want with him? He followed him to Icestar's den, leaning his head in. "Icestar?" he called, before stepping in. "You wanted to see me?"

Icestar looked as she saw Foxflame. "Yes, take a seat." She pointed her black nose at an empty pile of moss, just infront of the she-cat. She sat up and gave her shoulder two swift licks. Stormcloud came in and sat next to Icestar. Icestar looked at Foxflame. "I know you had just lost Bramblethorn to the paws of Starclan, and I'm very sorry about that." She met eye contact with the tom and smiled. "I've known all your weaknesses and advantages from training with you. I want you to spy on Frostclan, to see what they are up too, they have been too quiet for too long. I know how you can get around things easily and quietly then going over things quickly." She let at a purr. "I want you to come back and tell me what they have been doing to take this long of leaf-bare and being too quiet. Don't mention this to any other cat, only Stormcloud, you, and I know about this. Don't open your mouth to any cat!"
She sat up. "Leave tonight once the clearing is quiet and clear." Stormcloud meowed boldly. Icestar nodded.

Foxflame sat on the moss she indicated, ready to listen to what she had to say. He listened to her silently, blinking and meeting her gaze. "Frostclan?" he repeated quietly. He himself thought they were one of the weakest and most docile of clans. Why not Aquaclan or Rainclan? They seemed like more threats than Frostclan. But who was he to argue. He just nodded, smiling slightly at her compliments. "Alright, I understand." He said, getting to his feet and bowing his head to her. "I'll do my best."

Icestar smiled. "Good, Frostclan can be up to know good, Shadowclan was always silent, unless they wanted something, and most likely they are trying to get something." she meowed.
Stormcloud stood. "I will cover you and do all your warrior duties, along with mine." he meowed. He walked out of his mate's den and headed toward the elder's den. I'll check on Silentstep first.
