Mudkit sighed, his shoulders slumping. Five moons. That was a really long time to wait. Hopefully it would go quickly. "What do warriors do?" His excitement for new knowledge was impossible to stifle. He listened to his siblings playfight in the background, behind him somewhere, but his attention was drawn to Coppertail and Owlspot.

"We hunt to keep the Clan fed," Coppertail meowed. "We check borders, as Coppertail as already said," added Owlspot. "Yes, it's our job to defend the Clan was invasion and theives," the deputy meowed, as way of explanation. He was glad to see that Mudkit wasn't too upset about the wait for training. He was also slightly envious that Mudkit was to become an AquaClan warrior and not a BeachClan one.

Mudkit's eyes widened. "Thieves?" he asked, astonished. What kind of thieves? From where? And invasion? From who? It couldn't be from other Clans, could it? That would go against the warrior code, wouldn't it? "What about the warrior code? What about that?"

"There are some cats in the Clans that do not follow the Warrior Code as they should do," Coppertail told the kit, his voice as cold as fresh snow. It just showed how strong he felt about cats who did not follow the code. His amber eyes drifted to Owlspot and away again. The cream tom noticed it but chose not to make a comment. Let bygones be bygones. He brushed the tip of his tail against Mudkit's shoulder as a reassuring gesture. "There are even more cats outside the Clans who live vastly different lives to us. Rogues hunt wherever they want and fight with no honour. Kittypets relie on their twolegs for every little thing."

Mudkit's eyes widened even more. "Really?" He thought about it for a moment. "...Why?" he asked, exceptionally curious. His whole body quivered with his excitement, and his eyes gleamed in the pale light. He admired Owlspot and Coppertail. As of now, he hoped to live up to one of them and be just like them.

Foxkit hissed at Rabbitkit. He was mad that she had to be a snob to say that she didn't want to play anymore. "Watch it!" He snapped. He turned his back to her and then looked over his shoulder. "Kittypet." He purred. He wanted to make Rabbitkit mad so that she would play again. Waterkit overheard Foxkit. Rabbitkit is not going to like this. She could see a picture in her head of Rabbitkit ripping her brother to shreads. Waterkit laughed. "That wasn't very bright!" The she-cat yelled out.
