Rockfang padded through the marsh and flopped down on a large, flat rock. The AquaClan deputy thought over recent events. Her father had come to the Clan seeking protection and Jaystar had been missing a lot lately. What was going on? Was there to be an attack? She sighed and curled up, but with no intention of sleeping.

Morningstar followed the cat through the marsh. She let out a loud pur. Then she climbed a tree and purred some more.

Rockfang lifted her head, noticing Morningstar. She sat up and glanced at the StarClan cat. "What do you want?" she demanded, perhaps a little too harshly. The deputy couldn't help that she was excessively snappy at the moment.

Morningstar hissed. And ran down the tree and into the fog. "Being harsh shall never get you of where you would want to go," she meowed. "Silverpelt has sent me here on earth, till after battle." she meowed firmly.

"But where do I want to go?" she mewed, confused. Rockfang shook her head to clear the mist around it. "Everything is confusing," the deputy confessed to Morningstar. "My father has come to seek shelter for killing one of Burntstar's cats...Jaystar has been away from camp a lot...what's happening? Something isn't right here."
ooc: How did these boards get moved to FrostClan? o.o

ooc; dunno
bic; Morningstar nodded. "Silverpelt has sent me here with many messages, but they shall only to told when needed and when ready," she meowed. "Everything confusing, but when the blood will rule, the cherry tree shall not blossom," she meowed. Then she walked down into the sinking soil, she started to sink, then she dissapeared. Seconds later, she appeared at the top of a rock. "See," she meowed.

"Okay." Rockfang's voice was apprenhensive as she eyed the StarClan cat. "I don't get it. Are you trying to tell us that there's a sinkhole down there? That is the only thing I understand." She cocked her head, confused. Why does everything we hear from StarClan have to be so complicated?

"Things from us are always confusing, think when I was a leader. But it shows of how well you listen," she meowed. She smiled. She disapeared again.

"I guess...right?" Rockfang mewed. She had been a while since she had been so throughly bewildered. "Should I go back to camp and tell Jaystar?" Truthfully, she wasn't really in the mood to go anywhere at the moment.

"No!" She blabbed out. "Um... Tell him later, he has to be alone right now, he has to spend alittle bit of the rest of his journey alone. And of by I mean journey, journey till battle." se replied. "So stay here and hunt with me," she meowed. Yeah, nice going, that's a good thing to keep her distracted, she's a little smarter then that She rolled her eyes.

Rockfang thingyed her head, confused. "All right, then, Morningstar." She glanced nervously in the direction of camp but didn't dare disobey the words of the StarClan leader. So instead she padded over to a small pool in the marsh and waited for a fish to swim by. When one swam by, she thrust a paw in and scooped out the fish. However, it flopped back in before she could hold it down. "Mouse-dung."

"It's sinking," Morningstar meowed. The fish was not moving by the marshy soil. It was sinking. She jumped into the pit. She came back out with the fish. She threw it to the deputy. "Be careful. Don't let anymore get away." she meowed. Even as a Starclan cat, she can still do a lot of things on ground.

Rockfang held the fish in her jaws until it moved no more. She dropped the fresh-kill beside here and sat by the edge of the water, still watching for a fish. Another one swam by and she scooped it out, this time managing to keep it from flopping away. "Is it like a sinkhole there or something?"

The old cat nodded. "Correct. Many cats have died here. Stay away, cats have tried to clog it with rocks but it sucks it right up," she murmured.

"Oh, yay." Rockfang put the fish on top of the other and retreated back to the waterside. "I don't see any more now. Are they all gone?" She flicked her tail and looked around for any other small animals to catch.

"I'll try over here for a slug or two. They're very good for your limbs," she murmured. She walked over to a mud pit, stuck her nose in and came out with a slug. She swallowed it and sat down to lick her lips.

Rockfang sat bolt upright. She had never heard of eating slugs before. Perhaps it was a BeachClan thing. "Um, okay?" The tortoiseshell cat flicked her tail, confused.

The calico cat smiled. "I can see that your confused. It actually helps, and tuna helps the fur shine, instead of having nasty fur that you have to clean everything you do," she murmured. She tilted her head to the side and started at the she-cat. "Your not always happy but not always sad. I like you," she purred. "Your the right cat for a secret," she purred.

Rockfang cocked her head once more. "All right then." Truthfully, she was never really happy or sad, just always aggressive, controlling, and on the warpath. She trotted over and nibbled on a slug near the surface. She winced. "It tastes like crowfood, Morningstar."

Morningstar nodded. "It's salty, but once you add a jupiter berry to it, it won't give you a belly ache and you'll feel stronger tomorrow," she purred. "They will give you a belly ache but hold on," she purred. She walked around into a bush. Moments later she popped her head out with berries, "Eat, they'll make you feel better," she purred. She handed the berry to the cat. Then she gobbed another one herself.

Rockfang ate the berry. "Neither one is very good. Ugh." She shook her head with mild disdain. "About that secret..." She couldn't resist. Every cat wants to know some secret from the leader of StarClan, no matter how stupid they sound asking for it.

Morningstar smiled. "By the powers of Starclan," she purred. She hopped ontop of a rock, she looked up at Silverpelt. Silverpelt glittered along with the calico cats eyes. She looked down, "Silverpelt says the secret must wait till full moon," she meowed. She hopped down from the rock. "We must get you back to camp, so you can regain energy." she meowed. "I'll take you to the entrance, then I'll go back into Beachclan camp. I shall be here tomorrow at moonhigh," she meowed.

Rockfang nodded once. This was admittably quite strange. She stood and stretched out. The deputy did not question why Morningstar was going to BeachClan; probably to talk with Icestar or something. She began to walk towards camp.

Morningstar nodded. She started to walk toward Beachclan.
At moonhigh the next day, Morningstar hid in a bush and waited to see if the deputy would come back to her. She sat in the bush and eyed the big rock sitting in the middle of the clearing. She smelled a mouse. She started at it. Then the mouse laid died in the middle of the clearing.

Rockfang padded back to the marsh, lifting her paws abnormally high with each step to avoid sticking in the mud. "Hello, Morningstar," she meowed. "We have a problem back in camp." The tortoiseshell deputy licked her chest fur once before turning to look at the StarClan leader again.

Morningstar padded out of the bush. "I know, I was just waiting to see if you would come and meet me once again," she purred. She was walking toward the camp entrance. "Dawn is coming," she meowed.

"Does that mean the shadow will go away?" She blinked once at the hope of light. "I don't know where it came from...it seems that Stone might have something to do with it." Rockfang sat down and tucked her tail around her paws.

"It came from the land of no stars. Bad place. Starclan has been fighting, but we can't stop it." she meowed. "And yes, the shadow should only come at sunhigh." she meowed.

"Hopefully. I don't want Stone to get hurt." Rockfang fluffed up the fur on the back of her neck. A light breeze caught it and made her slightly resemble a warrior of LionClan...except tortoiseshell.

Morningstar nodded. Then she walked threw the enterance and started to flicked her tail. She waited for Rockfang to follow. She purred to see the clan from the ground. She was happy to see that no dead bodies were lying in the clearing.
