That was the question Swiftwind had been asking herself for the past few days. It seemed like either RainClan was wondering if she was in any emotional shape to take care of the Clan, or Swiftwind was very, very paranoid--preferably the latter. Of course, something like this was bound to happen--even the youngest kit could see it coming.
The gray she-cat stretched in her den, and eyed a small mouse in the corner of her den warily. Who caught me that? she thought. Usually I just get something from the freshkill pile. I suppose that was nice of them. I'd thank them if I knew who they were...
