Woldheart nodded to Owlfoot. "Alright then. And go get some rest, okay? Hawkstars counting on you nd so are the rest of us.." he said, smiling and nudging his friend towards the warriors den. Then he turned to see Honeyfrost and Desertflower. He grinned good naturedly, bounding over to them and skidding to a halt. "Hey, Honeyfrost, would you mind going on a border patrol with me? And Desertflower, can you find some others and go on a hunting patrol?"

"Okay," she meowed," But first I want to get something for my leg." She gestured to her left foreleg where a small gash was, her fur mattered with blood.
"Hunting patrol," Desertflower meowed, nodding. " Who would you like me to bring?"

Wolfheart nodded, coming up beside her. "Okay, let's get Sleetpelt to check that out first." he said, then looked thoughtful at Desertflower's question. "Mmm, Tussockpaw...and whoever else you want." he said, shrugging and smiling sheepishly. "I'm not really cut out for this deputy job, am I?" he said jokingly.

Owlfoot smiled at three warriors, wobbling slightly as he turned. He stopped and, puffing his chest slightly, turned and began to pad-limp toward the medicine cat's den. He stpped at the entrance, wondering if Sleetpelt was even inside. "Hey, Sleetpelt?" he called, blinking into the den.

Desertflower nodded. "I'll take Tussockpaw and Orchidtail." She turned and padded away to find the two cats.

Honeyfrost licked her foreleg before nodding to Wolfheart. "You're doing fine," she meowed encouragingly. She padded after Owlfoot, putting her weight lightly on her injured leg. "Wait up Owlfoot," she called,"You're hobbling to fast for me..."

Owlfoot lifted his head and smiled at Honeyfrost. "Sorry," he said, a slightly amused look on his face.
