Foxflame's head poked out of the warrior's den, his ears twitching. "Did I hear my name?" He asked, padding out and looking between Icestar and Coppertail. "You want me to go?" He asked warily. Frostclan was going to tear him to shreds and he could already feel his injury acting up...

Icestar looked at Foxflame with a wierd look on her face. "Yes we need you to go!" The black she-cat snarled. "We need all the help we can get from strong warriors. And were if Tigerstripe!" Icestar hissed. She was now getting anxious. She was hoping nothing would go wrong. And she hoped that her kits didn't get hurt at all during the battle. "Oh. And no killing any cats unless they kill us first!" Icestar meowed to Coppertail. "Make sure that every cat is sure that is clear." She knew killing was wrong in the first place, but if they kill any of her clanmates, Icestar would surely have a heartattack.

Foxflame flinched at his old mentor's snarl, shrinking back some. "Alright, alright. Yes Icestar...." He said, dipping his head in agreement, wincing deeply. Whitestar, Rainlight....if a medicine cat could fight and come into battle....she was going to claw his ears off. And Skylight....He was such a dead cat walking.

Coppertail looked warily from Foxflame to Icestar. He sensed it wasn't just fear of a battle that was making him nervous but something more. What had happened during his brief stay in FrostClan? It's not for me to know. The deputy nodded to Icestar and smiled softly. "Of course, I'll let everyone know of your wishes. But, we will kill if we have to," he meowed. He glanced over at the Nursery, a habit he had been developing, and looked back to the black she-cat. His amber eyes reflected the anxiety he felt and he flicked his ears back. "Icestar," he murmured," Can I talk to you privately? It's about our 'guests'."

Icestar looked curious of what Coppertail had to say. "Of course, we can go to my den." Icestar nodded and started to walk up the small hill of sand that lead up to her large, empty den. Icestar looked at her paws while walking up the hill. She remembered falling down the hill as an apprentice while rushing to tell her leader something she had seen while hunting. Once Icestar sat down in the den, she decided not to sit in her nest. The black she-cat gave her paw a quick lick and waited for Coppertail to speak.

Coppertail followed her and once inside her den, sat down with his tail curled over his white paws. He met Icestar's cool blue gaze with his own stern amber one and sighed softly. "It's about Flaxeyes and the two AquaClan warriors. I know Flaxeyes' kits are your kin but now that you've announced there's a battle there's nothing to stop her from leaving. She's sleeping at the moment and Skystripe is watching her but I'm worried. As soon as she wakes up and when she hears the news, for either Emberlight, Owlspot or Redwind will tell her, she'll take her kits and be off through the snow to warn FrostClan." He grimaced and added softly. "I wouldn't be surprised if she left the kits here just to make the journey quicker."
"She's going to be outraged and betrayed and even though we've been seperated for awhile now I still love her because she's my sister. May StarClan have mercy on Burnstar for this mess..."
He was trembling slightly from the amount of emotion behind his words and licked his chest fur to calm himself. He spoke now into his fur, quieter still. "I'm just worried she's going to pose a threat to the Clan. I don't know what the Clan thinks, I've been to scared to ask. My opinion may be biased, Icestar. And Owlspot's loyalty is more than complicated. He helped BurntClan and stayed behind while AquaClan went ahead."
He looked up, blinking slowly. "Could you speak to him and Redwind? See where they sit? I don't want us keeping snakes in our own camp."

Icestar listened carefully to Coppertail's words. She jumped in shock of him knowing about her being kin. Blackleaf must have told her about the curse.
"I know about Flaxeyes being mad and outraged. We need to keep her in camp no matter what. Flaxeyes will tell the clan. But Starclan might have sent them a warning. You never know what they'll do. So we need to rely on Starclan to hold the path ahead of us." Icestar meowed calmly. The black she-cat sniffed the air. Morningstar!
The calico she-cat was sitting in the small corner of the den. "Fate is fate. Trust is trust. Rely on your clan."
Icestar was confused by her words. "Fate is fate. Trust is trust. Rely on your clan." She whispered, looking at her paws. Icestar just remebered Coppertail was sitting in front of her. "Sorry." She said. "Bring Owlspot and Redwind in here."

Coppertail only felt a little apologetic that Icestar hadn't realised he knew that Blackleaf and Skylight were her kits. Owlspot and him had pieced it together many moons ago after over-hearing what was meant to be a private conversation between Jaystar and her. Then there was Stormcloud's return and Flaxeyes' relationship with the tom who was meant to be a medicine cat.
At her next words he tilted his head in confusion. "Fate is fate. Trust is trust. Rely on your Clan." What was she talking about? Was this their destiny, to attack FrostClan? Was he to trust Flaxeyes but rely on BeachClan to keep her safe? He didn't really have a choice. "I would like to leave someone in charge of watching her," he meowed slowly," I'll tell Skystripe to keep watch while I fetch Redwind and Owlspot." As he turned away and padded out of her den, he looked over her shoulder and gave a small, thankful smile. "Thank-you for listening to me."
Coppertail poked his head through the nursery entrance. Flaxeyes was still sleeping, her kits at her belly. He felt a pang of regret and sorrow for what was to come and it doubled when he saw Owlspot's expression. His brother was glaring at him.
"Don't be like that," Coppertail whispered. "This is really for the best."
"What do you want, Coppertail?" Owlspot sighed, looking somewhat defeated.
"Icestar wants to speak with you and Redwind..."
Owlspot raised to his paws and nudged his mate's flank whispering to her gently. "Icestar wants a word."
The ginger tom stepped back and caught Skystripe's gaze. "Skystripe! Could you please watch Flaxeyes and Redwind's kits while she is away?" It wasn't an order from the deputy but more a warrior asking another for a favour.

Redwind looked up her mate blankly and sighed. "Okay." The red she-cat got to her sore paws slowly and looked around for her kits. They were by Emberlight's kits, they were playing with a ball of moss. Redwind looked at Owlspot and then at Coppertail. She gave a quick nod and started to walk toward Icestar's den.
Skystripe flinched as her name was called. "Yes Coppertail." Skystripe grabbed a couple of mice from the fresh-kill pile and quickly padded into the nursery. "Here. You guys need some food." She noticed that the nursery felt dead. All the energy in here was the kits playing.

"Oh, Skystripe!" Owlspot called suddenly, having spotted the prey she was was carrying. "Don't give Flaxeyes mice. She doesn't like them."
"She's still doing that?" his brother grumbled. "Skystripe, if you wake her up, don't mention anything. Just say Redwind and Owlspot are out walking. Please?"
Coppertail led the cats up to Icestar's den and Owlspot noticed the odd twitch in his tail, a sign that the tom was nervous. Of course, this gave him a reason to feel nervous and he glanced at his mate. What's going on here? Why does Icestar want to see us?
"Icestar," Coppertail announced. "I found them and left Skystripe in charge of the Nursery."
Owlspot brushed against Redwind's side as he slipped into the den. As it was some what small, he crouched down and wrapped his tail around his paws.

Skystripe flinched as Coppertail yelled to her. She dropped the mice she had in her mouth. "Sorry!" She yelled across the clearing. She hoped no one had seen her get scared over a small yell. Oops. She raced over to the fresh-kill pile to trade a mouse in for a rabbit.
Icestar nodded to Coppertail. "Thank you." She meowed. The black she-cat smiled and then looked at the two mates. "Do you think it's okay if we attack Frostclan to bring Aquaclan back home. We need to know your answer. Or do agree that we shouldn't attack, and your clan starves? Your choice." She gave a small smile and looked at Coppertail. Did I say the right words? I didn't want to scare them....

Coppertail grimaced and looked away. He wouldn't have worded it exactly like that. Owlspot's expression looked a little stunned and he turned to the deputy. "I'm not sure I understand. How will you getting FrostClan's territory help AquaClan?"
"Well," Coppertail began, looking to his leader," The idea is we give AquaClan a chunk of FrostClan's land."
"And where will FrostClan go?" he demanded. How was this even logical? Gain one Clan and lose another. It was stupid.
"It's not as stupid as it seems," his brother meowed, reading Owlspot's expression. "FrostClan can have land in the upper hills or they can join us. They're weak and small anyway. Don't you want to see your Clanmates again?"
Owlspot looked to his mate. "Do you want to do this?" he asked her softly. "If we do, I'll have to fight with them. You'll be safe, our kits will be safe. You can see Shadowsoul again."

Icestar smiled as her deputy stepped in. She dipped her head to him and looked at Redwind.
Redwind looked at her mate. She was a little on the no side but once she heard Shadowsoul's name and kits will be safe, she jumped her her feet. "Yes. This must happen. It's for the sake of Aquaclan!" Her voice was loud and determinded.

"We'll have to notify Jaystar of course," Coppertail meowed, once he had the two warriors approval. "Your leader may not be so keen but there is little options."
"Agreed," his brother replied, his voice tinged with sadness. "The leaf-bare has been harsh and killed most of the new growth in our territory. I've been checking. It'll be good to see our Clan again." He gave Redwind a small smile as if in pleasure at the idea. He was secretly hoping that their fellow Clanmembers were still alive.
The deputy gave a small nod and looked to his leader. "Icestar, do we have enough time to send a messenger or will it have to wait after the attack?"

Icestar nodded. "Of course. We need Jaystar's approval to do any of this. The only flaw is we have no idea where they have migrated to. I suppose we could send a small patrol to accouple locations, but other that than, we need to find a way to come in contact with them. By any chance did Jaystar tell either one of you about where they head off too?" Icestar meowed, looking at Redwind and Owlspot.
Redwind looked at the ground. "Ummm..... I have no idea. They could be anywhere. They could have been traveling for a moon to a totally new location like the old clans. But I think they wouldn't have gone far because of the clans condition." Redwind looked at Owlspot and just thought of one cat, Jaystar. Of course the leader was basiclly on his way to Starclan. He only had a small amount of lives left in him and he was damaged for life because of the war with Burntclan.

Owlspot frowned. "They went to the Barn, of course. I asked some...friends-" Coppertail grimaced slightly "-to take them there." The Barn was an old two-leg building located beyond RainClan's territory, in between the small two-leg place and No Cats' Land. Owlspot and Coppertail had grown up in that area so the building was familiar to them but not to any other Clan cat.
"It's in rogue territory," Coppertail explained. "To get there you have to take passage through RainClan or through the two-leg place."
"In leaf-bare I can't imagine it being all that nice," Owlspot added softly. "AquaClan, especially Jaystar and Rockfang, weren't in a great state when they left here..."
It was possible that nothing was left of AquaClan, that the warriors had simply moved apart.

Icestar nodded. "Okay. Then we'll have to gather a patrol. You can lead it. I would like everyone who is going to battle stay here and rest while the cats who are gaurding can go with you. And ask Jaystar for any cats that are strong, we can feed them to get ready for the battle if they're not well fed." She ordered. Even though prey is little scarce in Beachclan territory, it doesn't mean if they could feed all of them just about a moon ago, then they could feed a few now.
