"The clans are suffering. They need our help. But all we can do if fight aside them for survival." Morningstar whispered to herself. She was watching down from a cloud. The Aquaclan forest was thickening slowly. "By Greenleaf it will good enough for the prey to come back." She looked around. The Starclan hunting grounds were empty, as so she thought. "Frostclan is suffering the worst." Morningstar jumped from the unknown voice. The she-cat squinted to try to make out of a cat. The sighed seeing it was Oceanstar. "More like Aquaclan is. They don't even have a home. They just have that empty barn." Morningstar hissed. "But if Beachclan attacks Frostclan, they will go and find cats who have lived here longer than the clans. Frostclan will end up surviving." "Well not all of them!" Oceanstar spat. "Of course! But they will lead themselves in the path of Starclan. And we shall light their paths." Morningstar dipped her head. "You know that." Oceanstar gave an irritated flick of her ear.

"I feel like saying 'thank StarClan' about AquaClan's forest growing back but that sounds strange up here," Stone meowed, slinking up from behind the two she-cats. "Everything just looks...bad. Going from bad to worse, probably. RainClan seems all right, though." His experience with Clan politics and dynamics was limited to about half of an apprenticeship, so he naturally had no idea what the former leaders were discussing. Not having a home was something completely natural to him, having been a rogue when he lived on the ground, among the Clan cats.

Morningstar turned around to see the old tom, Stone. "Hello to you too." She joked. "You're right, but once newleaf comes, they'll need the other clans more than anything. With those mouse-brained apprentices going off to see that nasty cat Burntstar, they are going to be hit with a surprise. I think we should warn the apprentices about him. They don't really know how dangerous he is." Morningstar hissed. "Typical apprentices." Oceanstar muttered. The old Frostclan leader looked even more washed out than the last time Morningstar has seen her. She could be a sister to Yellowfang. Morningstar thought. Oceanstar rapped her tail around her paws and let out a sigh. "We can only do so much."

He tilted his head and flicked his white-tipped tail across the cloud. Stone vaguely recalled the decision during his apprenticeship to leave AquaClan for life on his own. The few cats he had mentioned his plan of desertion to had either not taken him seriously or reprimanded him and left it at that. "But would they listen if we warned them? They're already breaking some sort of code in going and seeing him and stuff, and apprentices are pretty cocky. They don't like to listen. I think--um, I don't know your name--is right." Nervously, he glanced at Oceanstar; he was intimidated by her presence and hoped she wouldn't lash out at him for his lack of knowledge.

Oceanstar let out a chuckle. "Typicial loner." She then got her act together. "I'm Oceanstar, former leader of Frostclan." She lashed her big, puffy tail over her paws and yawned. "Lucky for you I'm in a good mood." Morningstar rolled her eyes. This she-cat has got to have bees in her brain. "Stone's right. Maybe we should send a sign to one of the loyal warriors. To make sure they don't sneek out of camp to see him." The old she-cat suggested.

Stone's ears flicked backwards. He didn't like the vibe he was getting from Oceanstar. There wasn't much he knew about FrostClan except that it was always cold there and that they were far weaker than his native AquaClan. "But to who?" Again, he didn't know of any loyal warriors or anyone who could be counted on to deliver the message. His daughter was deputy of AquaClan, but he was unsure what Clans the aberrant apprentices resided in. "And I still think we'd have trouble getting them to listen."

Morningstar looked at her paws to think. "A cat that will listen and not tell anyone, except the apprentices. We need to stop this before it gets out of hand and other clans get involved. We need to tell a loyal and trustworthy cat. Maybe a quiet cat, we also need a strong, young warrior. Or maybe a taddling apprentice." Morningstar pointed out. She looked at Stone and flicked her tail toward the Rainclan territory. "We need to hurry before there isn't another opportunity."

"I don't know anyone," Stone reiterated. "Aren't there any more cats up here in StarClan who actually have an idea of the names of the cats down in the forest?" He flicked his tail, almost impatiently, and peered off the edge of the cloud. The ground was white underneath them; flakes had been drifting lazily down for the past few days. Even the trees in BeachClan had a thin coating of icy precipitation on the branches.

{Hope you don't mind if I take Blizzardstar} "I have alerted RainClan's medicine cat," a voice meowed strongly. A she-cat pushed through the crowd, looking to defend her Clan. The RainClan leader tended to keep herself mainly but it was time to make an appearance. "There is not a lot we can do," she told the cats. "The apprentices walk their own path. They will do what they believe is right". Blizzardstar glanced purposefully at Morningstar. "Just as your daughter must carry out her actions, so must the children of Hawkstar. I have talked to Fogstar and he agrees with me". "I could of told them that myself," laughed a tom. The AquaClan leader had finally made it to the meeting. He sat beside Morningstar and curled his tail around his paws. "AquaClan must go through this to become stronger. Past mistakes must be corrected. My mistakes. I did not choose the correct sucessor. I have therefore hurt Jaystar's chances of being a strong leader". He lowered his head in sorrow. He was wracked with guilt and could not rest knowing Burntstar walked amongst the living. "I, along with the RainClan warriors, will do our best to help protect the innocent".

Morningstar nodded. "Then hopefully those apprentices will stay away from him." She let out a grunt. "And you can't blaim my daughter. Starclan made she-cat to have kits." She hissed. Oceanstar glared at both the she-cats. "Cut it out." The old cat growled. Oceanstar stared at Stone. "I swear if it wasn't for them and their brains, they would all be clawed apart."

"Ah, allow to me to help." A strong, but wise voice spoke up. Stormheart padded up to the leaders and Stone, smiling warmly. "You seem to underestimate the power of conscious in one of these cocky apprentices. Already Hawkstar's son, Lightningpaw is having doubts. He may just be the rain to burning forest." He said, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. "We must not speak of past mistakes, because there is nothing we can do about them. What matters now is crisis at hand." He said, glancing around to the others. "We just need to show him the true destruction that can come from Burntstar. It will hurt to break two potentially great warriors.." He said, speaking of Heronpaw and Lightningpaw. "But our past mistakes have made it so these two have two very different paths. We must guide them, not argue amongst ourselves."

Morningstar let out a grunt. Fine, but if these mouse-brains want to agrue, I can give them a fight. The she-cat looked at Stormheart and nodded her head. "You speak wise words. And you are correct. So we should focus on stopping these cats from Burntstar brainwashing them and them start to think he's the good guy. We need to show them something." Morningstar hissed.

Blizzardstar's ears lowered as she glared back at Morningstar. "I was not attacking Icestar's decision to have kits," she said firmly," I commenting on her invasion plan. But obviously the fate of her kits are a concern to you. What does BeachClan plan to do with the FrostClan queen?" Fogstar rolled his eyes. She-cats. Always bickering amongst themselves. He dipped his head to Stormheart in a show of respect. The tom spoke wisely while they were speaking rashly. "It is not just RainClan that will be affected by Burntstar's plotting," he told the group," I see dark days ahead for all the Clans. There will be conflicts in both the spirit and flesh." He lowered his head and sighed sadly before adding what he knew the StatClan cats were dreading to hear. They were all aware of the limits of their powers, or, at least he was. "We cannot walk in the dreams of meer apprentices or warriors. We cannot warn them."
{Or so I recall from the novels. Only leaders and medicine cats can see or speak to StarClan right? The exceptions being cats told of prophecies or giving a sign as Spottedleaf often did.}

{I was thinking of these though, they could give the few apprentices visions and signs. Because they are kinda like prophecy cats, because their decisions affect the clan. Like...one or two apprentice from each clan, obviously Lightningpaw and Heronpaw. But what they get from the dream is up to them. Some like Heronpaw, side with Burntstar, while Lightningpaw's side slowly turns against it. Is that alright? That's my line of thinking xD}
Stormheart nodded, knowing he could show not favortism concern for his former clan. "You are correct, Fogstar. Already the clans have disrupted the balance, along with bringing in cats that we do not guide. There is trouble ahead, but our fightning days are done. We must warn them as clearly as we can and then wait and see." He looked around to the leaders, his eyes flickering with worry and concern. It did not feel good all the time...knowing you could do nothing more.

Morningstar let out a sigh. Flaxeyes. She closed her eyes to think. Maybe. Yeah. That's probably it. The she-cat opened her eyes. "I think Icestar will attack Frostclan and keep Flaxeyes. Because they are her kin. So she will be very protective over them. She will keep them so they will end up survivng." Morningstar's voice was shakey.
occ; i don't know what we're doing but, that was right right off the top of my head. so any ideas for what's going on for flaxeyes?
bic: Oceanstar hissed at the Beachclan leader. "She better not! Flaxeyes is a loyal cat to Frostclan and we're going to need her! If the kits die, then-" the she-cat shut her mouth once she noticed that Frostclan really needed these kits. "And what about Skylight's kits. Will they survive without a home?" Her voice was no more than a whisper.

{Brainwave time! I agree with Cat's idea on the dreams being sent to Lightningpaw and Heronpaw. They should see something that affects their decisions. If there is a StarClan cat to be present I would like to nominate Orchidtail's parents or Stormheart. Very little talking though. Flaxeyes....I have an idea. When AquaClan has settled in their new territory, Redwind could smuggle out Flaxeyes' kits with her own(The kits would be close, especially the ones to join Burntstar). Flaxeyes then joins them, sneaking out of BeachClan to join Owlspot in AquaClan. She's afraid of Icestar and worried about her Clan members. Owlspot or another sympathetic warrior believes that he knows where the FrostClan cats went and can take her to them. Before that is possible, Flaxeyes is discovered missing by BeachClan or by an angry AquaClan cat who does not understand the situation and Flaxeyes is sent back to BeachClan with her kits. Tada!}

{That was amazing Ali. haha! The kits should get a huge part. like maybe one wonders off so they have to stay in the cold looking for the kit. Then maybe Beachclan gets close to getting them back. or fox finds them? who knows. I'm throughing stuff out there.}
