Goldenpaw listened paitently as Coppertail told Hawkstar about going to No Cat's Land to see Jaystar. "Hopefully they can find them...." She whispered to Lightningpaw. "And I hope Jaystar is still alive." She whispered even quieter.

Hawkstar listened to his request politely, nodding afterwards. "I think that may can be arranged. But, Owlfoot is my deputy and he shall be present, private or not." He said with a flick of his tail, his voice strong and showing his authority and this was a condition, not a request. He looked to Honeyfrost and the others. "Wolfheart, Honeyfrost. Owlfoot, Coppertail and I will go on ahead to camp, to speak in the pprivacy of my den. You will escort the other Beachclan cats after us. Alright?" He asked with a courteous nod to the other cats. He looked to Coppertail expectantly. "Shall we go?"

"I would never ask for you to exclude your deputy," Coppertail meowed, nodding. Hawkstar's own plan differed from what he had in mind but he didn't have the authority to argue Hawkstar's decision. They needed acess to his territory if the patrol was to find AquaClan. The tom would of preferred speaking in the open with Stormcloud behind him rather than alone in the middle of RainClan camp. But he trusted Hawkstar and did not argue the case, instead smiling politely. "Lead the way."
Honeyfrost nodded and nuzzled her mate's cheek in goodbye before going to stand by Stormcloud. The tom had been awfully silent but she attributed it to the angry look Coppertail had given him earlier. Her brother could certaintly be bosy. "Stormcloud, right?" she asked, trying to place him. "I'm Honeyfrost, your deputy's sister."
Heronpaw glared at Owlfoot, his tail flicking angrily. He wanted to hear the message. He rose from the sitting position he had taken and looked up at Hawkstar, his own lighter blue eyes meeting those of his father's. "What about us, dad?" he asked, frowning. "What can I do?" Frankly, Heronpaw was finding it humiliating that he was sitting around doing nothing. His siblings had fetched Hawkstar and Honeyfrost and Wolfheart were escorts. He never got to do anything. He was stronger than Lightningpaw, he had proven it many times. He needn't bother comparing himself to Littlepaw or Goldenpaw. Yet always he was being underestimated or disrespected. Heronpaw had not missed Owlfoot's looks or even Coppertail's patronising gaze.

Owlfoot purred at Honeyrfrost before sh emoved off to the BeachClan warrior. He turned to his leader and Coppertail, eyeing them both, waiting for Hawkstar to lead the way. His ear twitched at Heronpaw's voice, keeping his smile on his face. He turned to glance at the apprentice, eyeing the glare he was given calmly.

Hawkstar turned to Heronpaw, noting the glare he gave Owlfoot before meeting his gaze. They would have a talk later, but now, he needed to give him something to do to feel like he was doing something. "Heronpaw, how about you are in charge of making sure Thunderpaw here," he nodded to the Thunderclan apprentice with a smile. "Feels welcome while in our camp. We don't know how long this may last. Understood?" He asked, looking him straight in the eyes, meaning no arguements about it. He then turned back to Coppertail with a smile, nodding towards the camp direction. "Shall we?" He turned and began to walk back toward the camp.

Thunderpaw scampered up to the cat called Heronpaw. He decided to wait and let the cat greet him first before speaking, as he had never seen the RainClan apprentice before and wanted to take some time to observe Heronpaw so he would know who was up to welcoming him into camp. The tom was not the best at learning about other cats through pure observation and was regretting his decision to remain silent and let the other cat speak first. Eventually, he just decided to break the ice. "Hi. I'm Thunderpaw. What'd Hawkstar say your name is? Heronpaw, right?" Eloquence had never been one of his strengths.

{Waiting for Lexie to post} Heronpaw wrinkled his nose slightly in what could be called a scowl. He wasn't too fond of this apprentice's forward nature but smiled anyway. He needed more cats for the Club, even if it meant having to smile and be nice. "Yes, I'm Heronpaw!" he meowed. He then gestered to his siblings. "And that's my brother and sister, Lightingpaw and Goldenpaw. My other brother is back at camp." As he spoke, he led the way to RainClan camp along the path worn down by generations of cats.

Thunderpaw nodded, following his guide back to RainClan's camp. "Hmmm." Taking in all the information about Heronpaw's family took a short moment for the apprentice. "My mom's back in BeachClan. My sister left for AquaClan. Pathetic," he added derisively. "It must be nice having all your family in the same Clan, living under the same rule and in the same den and going on the same hunting patrols when they're not traitors." Clearly, he had still not gotten over Quailpaw's treachery and enjoyed mocking her whenever possible, although typically his negative comments had little to do with the topic at hand.

Goldenpaw walked up to Heronpaw and to the Beachclan apprentice, Thunderpaw. "Hello," She meowed politly to the two toms. "How's Beachclan weather?" The tabby apprentice asked Thunderpaw. "Rainclan has been raining a lot. What a surprise." She joked at the last part. "Hey Heronpaw, we practice some training moves while we're here shall we?"

Heronpaw sneered on behalf of Thunderpaw. Although he hated his siblings he wouldn't be able to bear if his family were traitors. He still couldn't look at Maplepaw or Tussockwind or even their mother. And Honeyfrost was no better. Clearly having family outside your Clan weakened your decisions. "Everyone knows AquaClan is full of traitors. They're very weak," he told Thunderpaw. When Goldenpaw joined them, he looked at her with cold eyes. "If it's raining here it's raining there mousebrain!" Heronpaw snapped. He gave Thunderpaw an apologetic smile. "You can't choose your family," he laughed. His sister's presence was a nuisance as it interrupted his plans. He wasn't sure how she would react to his arrangement with Burntstar. But she did have a good suggestion; training. If he could demonstrate to Thunderpaw his skills perhaps the BeachClan apprentice would want to join him.
The BeachClan deputy followed beside Hawkstar, keeping a tail length behind as the leader led the way. "I must thank you again for seeing us," Coppertail meowed. "We didn't want to trespass so it is fortunate we came across Owlfoot's patrol." He paused and tugged at a twig whose leaves were caught on his tail. He had noticed that a lot of RainClan territory was covered by the thorny bushes that appeared around the marsh area near AquaClan. Perhaps their was truth to the nursery stories that RainClan warrios had tough skin but soft hearts. Although, the looks that tabby apprentice was giving him made Coppertail wonder if the story was reversed in that case. "The grey tabby," he meowed," I haven't seen him at a Gathering. Nor the black and white one." Surely showing some interest in the Clan was harmless.

Thunderpaw nodded, wearing a gruff, serious expression. He was thankful--no, more than thankful--that Heronpaw's views on AquaClan matched his own so closely. "Thank StarClan you know the truth about those flea-infested furballs. Old Jaystar's not looking too good these days. Rockfang's been limping for a while too. I've only seen the Clan at Gatherings but I think it's just a matter of time before they collapse." The apprentice smirked. And then BeachClan can take their territory! I don't know why we'd want it, though; isn't it all burnt out? Well, I suppose land is power. More land for us means less land for them...all the better.

Goldenpaw felt like she had steam coming out of your ears. "You know what! I'm tired of hearing you make fun of me!" She lunged at Heronpaw. She pinned him down quickly. "I'm trying to make friends with you and all you do is push me away. Now either you can be my ally or enemy. Now don't PUSH me!" Goldenpaw spat into Heronpaw's face. I hate him! All he does is push me around and I'm tired of it! She jumped off Heronpaw and glared at Thunderpaw. "Now either we train or sit here and waste sunlight."

Hawkstar glanced back to him once as he spoke up, then continued to look straight ahead. "It is fortunate.." He murmured, but had a feeling that Icestar wouldn't mind a little tresspassing if it meant Hawkstar heard her message. He wasn't surprised by his next comment, having gotten over the embarrassment of his sons behaving so childishly that they had to miss their first Gathering. But they were going to the next one and soon as warriors. "That is Heronpaw and Lightningpaw, my sons. The she-cat and the smaller tom, Goldenpaw and Littlepaw, I'm sure you've already seen are also their siblings. Heronpaw and Lightningpaw had a litte....mishap, causing some trouble, but it's all settled now."
Lightningpaw trailed behind Heronpaw and Thunderpaw, halfway listening but focusing on other things. He rolled his eyes at Heronpaw's comments, hoping Thunderpaw was such a mousebrain as his brother. He blinked in surprise as Goldenpaw stood up for herself, and he was actually kind of proud of her. But then he stepped up, seperating the two of them before it got out of hand. "I think we should just get Thunderpaw to camp like father said, and if the meeting runs long and we get permission, then we let's train. Alright?"

Goldenpaw looked at Lightningpaw. "Fine." She growled. Then she looked at Heronpaw and wouldn't keep her green eyes off her. I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him. It constantly ran through her mind. Then she looked at Thunderpaw. Oh my. Goldenpaw looked at the Beachclan apprentice with wide eyes. She shook her head. No. She told herself.

Had Lightningpaw not intervened, Goldenpaw would of been in serious trouble. Heronpaw's training was more 'in depth' than that of his sister and he would of shown her what he knew, with unsheathed claws. He stood snarling, fur puffed out. He met her gaze before tearing his eyes away to snap at Lightningpaw. "Why would I want to train with her?" he snarled. "All I wanted to do was follow the order Hawkstar gave me and suddenly she has to take part as well!" It had hurt that his two siblings had ran the messages but escorting Thundepaw was a great chance for him to introduce the apprentice to the FanClub. Now his meddling sister had ruined that and taken his job. This was why he couldn't stand her.

Lightningpaw stole a quick glance to Thunderpaw, wondering what he was thinking of this situation. What a lovely example they were setting -_-. He sighed, keeping his temper in check as he listened to Heronpaw, being a spoiled kit as usual. "Heronpaw...." He said through clenched teeth, getting a little frustrated. "We'll work it out later....alright? Now let's go." He said pointedly, looking him hard in the eyes, ears flickering towards camp.

Goldenpaw looked at Thunderpaw. "I'm sorry, Thunderpaw. I think we should get you back to camp and give you something to eat." She smiled. He looks a little thin for a fish face. She padded over to Lightningpaw. "Sorry to be so rude but Heronpaw earned it." She whispered into her brother's ear. She made sure to keep her voice within earshot on only Lightningpaw and herself.

Thunderpaw nodded his head and promptly cocked it to one side. "Okay...wait. Didn't Hawkstar say that Heronpaw had to escort me? Or does it not matter? I don't know what you RainClanners do about that sort of thing." Back in BeachClan, Icestar's orders were typically obeyed with little to no questioning, and he was beginning to doubt RainClan's way of life and Hawkstar's authority. Despite this, he had uttered his final sentence with barely any disdain for the other cats, a rare accomplishment for the saucy tom. Of course, everyone looked like a pushover next to the stern Icestar, and Thunderpaw did not know enough about Whitestar and Jaystar to see that their rules were far from strict and serious. "But really, some food sounds good."

Heronpaw snorted and tossed his head away from his siblings. He quickly took up a fast pace, following after his father and the BeachClan deputy. As usual, Goldenpaw was causing confusion. "We'll train in camp," he meowed over his shoulder," And Thunderpaw can have some fresh-kill if there's some left. We have to feed the Elders first, remember?"
Heronpaw and Lightningpaw had a litte....mishap, causing some trouble, but it's all settled now."
Coppertail glanced at the following apprentices he now appeared to be arguing amongst themselves. He had a good feeling what the 'mishap' had been from the looks Lightningpaw and Heronpaw were giving each other. Apparently Hawkstar's own sons couldn't stop fighting with each other. The tom pulled his eyes away from the scene and smiled weakly at Hawkstar. "I remember that when I was an apprentice, a certain she-cat insisted that we climb the Four Trees," he told the RainClan leader. "Wasn't that right Honeyfrost?" he called out, grinning. She laughed and rolled her eyes. "You climbed it though."

Hawkstar gave a good natured laugh, smiling to the two. "Then there should be some hope for them yet. Maybe they'll give Icestar a little something to think about." He said jokingly to Coppertail. His own eyes casts to his sons and in the back of his mind, he was praying to Starclan. 'Please let them behave...'
Lightningpaw rolled his eyes, following his brother with a sympathetic look towards his sister. "Alright, whatever works." He agreed, knowing if he didn't agree this conversation would go no where. He glanced to his father as he felt his eyes on him and smiled lightly, to show they were in a complete arguement.

Goldenpaw padded into camp ahead of the other apprentices. Her eyes scanned the camp. No sign of Littlepaw. The tabby she-cat poked her head into the apprentice's den. "Littlepaw?" She smelled the air. Fresh. It was too dark inside for her to see him. "It's me, I want to tell you something! You won't believe it!" She purred. Goldenpaw started to walk into the den and smelled the air again.

Coppertail wished he could joke with the leader but if RainClan didn't agree with Icestar's proposal, then she might end up having to think about the force of Hawkstar's warriors. From the tussle he had just seen, it looked like the apprentices were more than strong enough to deal with a proper fight. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that. At the moment, FrostClan was all BeachClan could deal with.
Littlepaw was curled into a tight ball, enjoying his morning sleep in. At the sound of his sister's voice, he raised his head and blinked slowly. His eyes adjusted quickly and he could see her outline. "What is it?" he yawned. He stretched and padded forward. What could possibly be so important that Goldenpaw felt the need to share. Usually he was left in the dark.

Goldenpaw smiled at the sound of Littlepaw's voice. "I just told off Heronpaw! I pinned him down and got all in his face! It was amazing!" Goldenpaw purred. She started walking into the den. "You wouldn't believe what you saw if you were there. Even Lightningpaw looked shocked! It's a great feeling. I just had the feeling to bite Heronpaw's head off!" Goldenpaw said quickly. She was so excited. Her tail was up straight in the air and her eyes were all glittery.
