hair

hikari's hair is a dark shade of snowy white. it was made to be thin and smooth, and is cut in the layered style. since hikari is a robot, her hair doesn't grow. it was originally made to be long.

eyes

hikari's eyes are red. more of a blood orange or a bloody indian red, but most definitely a red. they're big, dark, beautiful eyes. eyes that can't be ignored. yet, they look somewhat fake, like an android's eyes.

build

hikari is thin and smooth. she was built as a light-weight model, that could easily jump to great length, and was also built to be quite flexible. her model's emphasis is endurance, allowing her to stay on her feet for a long time.

other

hikari's switch is a small, snowy white toggle switch. it is located between her two shoulder blades. she has no ears, tail, or anything of the sort.

in general

hikari was programmed to be gentle, quiet, and intelligent. she has a wondrous understanding of the world around her. hikari has a talent and interest in sociobiology, and often studies the behaviors of the humans and animals around her. she can often be found outside, observing nature or planting wildflower seeds.

hikari often wonders about herself, who she is, where she came from. what she does know is that she is an android, made by a human, and that she is made to look like a human. she is pretty open about her personality, so there's really nothing to say here.

act 1: a child was born

Imagine a boy, about eleven years old, in a large, dark room. He has a pod sitting upright next to him as he busily works at a table. Inside that pod, floating inside that pod, is an android robot, her eyes closed. Long, white hair. Wrapped in strips of snowy white linen. Now, back to the present. This boy's name is Hashimoto Matsuoka. A few years ago, he created an android. It was a girl, c3ni, who was built to protect him. You have just seen that scene. When she was released from her pod, her hair seemed to have a gleaming texture. She was given her common nickname, Hikari, because of that. Hikari means "light" in Japanese, and a lot of things about c3ni were light.

Nobody knew that, one year later, a tragic event would occur.

act 2: the melancholy of chou matsuoka

One year had passed since the "birth" of Hikari. She was living happily with Hashimoto and his two parents, Shinobu and Chou Matsuoka. The four were living together as a contented family, and everything seemed to be fine. This happiness all stopped in the month of August 2063. Chou was going on a business trip by train. The Matsuoka family had never expected that the train would then crash while Chou was heading back home in late August.

Chou Matsuoka was dead.

act 3: the family's recovery

Once the sad news got to the Matsuoka family, there was a large funeral, and even Hikari, an android, felt emotitions for Chou. Chou had taught her many important things, especially about nature and caring for the plants and animals. Shinobu closed his large business he had been in, and started up a local store.

Life suddenly started to become normal again.

act 4: life continues as the world spins 'round

After the family's recovery, life started to become better for Hikari. Two more years had passed, and it was now March 2065. New technology had been sprouting up everywhere. So were new arts, and new ideas. It was like the Renaissance all over again. Shinobu sent Hikari off to a university, where she was worked on by Hashimoto and some of his fellow colleagues. (Hashimoto had just gotten a job as a researcher's intern at the university, giving him new knowledge about robots.) A memory stick was created for Hikari to use. She could touch it to her toggle switch, and new information could be fed in. Since then, Hikari, Shinobu, and Hashimoto have been living together in a small condo.

Finally, the storm had gone.
