"Guess it's my turn," meowed Whitestar nervously, jumping up to take the spot Hawkstar had so recently announced from. "FrostClan is doing well despite the cold weather. We extend our sympathies to AquaClan for their losses in the fire, both of Faintspot and their territory. In other news, our queen, Flaxeyes, is going to have her kits soon. We'll keep an eye out for those rogues, Hawkstar." With that, he leapt down from the Greatrock and and exhaled softly. He had done it.

Icestar smiled and stepped forward. "Beachclan is doing well, but we will not be letting Aquaclan back into our camp for any longer of time, our prey is running low, and we need it to feed Beachclan from now on. I am letting you go back to Beachclan camp to gather everything you need to go back into your territory. Tomorrow at sunhigh I will let my warriors run you out." she announced.
Browntail gasped. "That's not fair! Jaystar is still weak!" he hissed. Icestar snarled at Browntail. "He has been ever since that battle." Browntail growled, ready to spring.
ooc; Should Icestar not let Aquaclan back into her territory after the gathering?

Hawkstar's ears perked at this. This was not going well. He stepped up beside Icestar, glancing up to the moon. Luckily, no signs of clouds yet. "Enough! This is the Gathering!" he interrupted, glaring at both cats. "I can understand Icestar's decision, she must watch out for her clan. Though he methods seem a little harsh, she's doing it for the good of her clan." He paused, glancing to Icestar before continuing. "It is a terrible thing to hear about Jaystar's health. And I know Aquaclan's territory is not yet fixed. That is why I am offering Jaystar a place to stay. Along with all kits, apprentices, and elders. I cannot guarantee any more space, seeing as Rainclan has grown in size itself. But I am sure that you may stay and we shall help rebuild your camp as quickly as possible." He finished, looking to Rockfang.

All the cats looked up in surprise at the sudden turn of events. Owlspot frowned unhappily and made a mental note to take his kits, Redwind and make a dash for the hills. He wasn't going to let them starve and AquaClan had enough debt without adding RainClan's genouristy to it. They would just have to make do. Beside him, Coppertail growled. "This is ridiculous. I thought we had agreed to let them organise rebuilding their camp or help them make a new home?"
The RainClan cats had various views. Heronpaw was furious at the idea of letting the AquaClan warriors into their camp and hoped that Jaystar would not accept the offer. Icestar had every right to run them out after so long. "Let them eat crowfood," he spat. Tussockwind wore a stunned expression mingled with that of somebody who had just smelt a twoleg monster. He was not sharing prey with those furballs. Dragonpaw and Quailpaw were a prickly pair and he couldn't see himself making friends with them. At least I'm not an apprentice. Littlepaw, however, was pleased. This was a prime chance to make friends with the cats who had grown up in Burntstar's Clan of birth. He wondered what stories they had to tell. Goldenpaw will love this. I suspose Heronpaw will like it for a different reason though... "Hawkstar, what are you doing?" Orchidtail meowed softly, creeping towards the High Rock. The leader's word may be law but as the leader's mate she felt fully entitled to criticise his ideas. She wouldn't argue with them but she would be the first to say 'I told you so' and give him a reassuring lick if it all went horribly wrong.

Lightningpaw himself was a little stunned at the news. He knew his father meant well....but was this the best choice? He glanced around at the faces of his friends and family near him, including other clan cats. So many different feelings...then he looked back up to his father with a worried expression. With cats so against it....but where else would Aquaclan go? He looked down at his paws, a thoughtful expression on his face.
Wolfheart too, was surprised at his leader's choice. Hawkstar had always had a caring heart...but would these cat's listen or want help? As Heronpaw spoke, he nudged the apprentice in the side. "Hush!" he said sternly to the young cat, looking back to Hawkstar.
Hawkstar glanced to his mate, but his expression remained firm, ears twitching as he heard comments from his own cats in the crowd. He turned back to them, slight disappointment in his expression. "Listen to yourselves! Are these the same cats that joined together a few months ago when we needed each other? I am not doing this out of pity, I'm doing this because of my friendship with Jaystar and I do not want to watch a fellow clan unable to feed it's own kits with no shelter! Ask yourselves if you were in the position of Aquaclan, would you not liked to be offered help if you have no place to rest and no prey to hunt? I am not saying Aquaclan cannot defend itself, but I will not sit by without at least offering assistance. If Rainclan were ever in trouble, I would look to my fellow leaders if I must." he said firmly, his gaze going over most the cats gathered below, looking more to his kits from which he had heard the comment from Heronpaw.

Owlfoot turned, glaring to Heronpaw with a stern eye. He perked at Hawkstar's words, relieved. "Heronpaw should follow his father's example," he whispered to himself, not really wishing to speak up. The decision had been made and his clanmates would have to deal for now.

Rockfang remained impassive. She was torn between rejoycing and disapproval. Sure, she hated staying on BeachClan territory with those furballs, but she would prefer that to being stuck in charred territory with no food during the harsh middle of leaf-bare. The deputy contented herself with shifting her weight between her front paws and looking agitated.
Thunderpaw purred triumphantly. He was glad to be rid of the enemy, the ones who had been hogging his prey and territory. He was also estatic that his traitor of a sister would be going with them. Icestar's pretty smart. I'm glad that she's my mentor. Maybe I'll lead BeachClan someday! He smiled mischievously at the thought.
Whitestar cleared his throat and spoke. "I believe Hawkstar is doing the right thing, and if RainClan territory is becoming overcrowded, we will gladly allow some AquaClan cats to stay on our territory indefinitely. We don't have much prey to spare, but there's enough extra for a few cats."

Goldenpaw jumped to her paws. "No," she whispered. "Littlepaw, I can't do that, I'll have to do talk to them." she whispered into his ear. Her nervous tone made her head spin. Skylight also jumped. "Whitestar, we barely have any prey, but we can spare some moss and bedding." she meowed to her leader. Her black and white fur bristled. I'm not taking care of those furballs! Icestar let out a growl. "Aquaclan must figure out their own problems. Twolegs had replanted their part of the forest and they can now leave. They have a little bit of Twolegplace to hunt for mice." she hissed. Skylight's belly turned. Icestar's right She confessed to herself.
Browntail was now at his paws. He didn't like the suggestion of living in now another clans territory, it was bad enough he had to learn how to get his paws wet and learn to swim and catch fish. He didn't even really understand the types of trainings they use. He let out a growl. "Let Whitestar and Hawkstar make their own clan decions." he spat. "Icestar has no right to say what they should do!" "Icestar's trying to make it better so more cats don't starve!" Skylight hissed. "Enough!" Icestar yowled. "I know they can make their own decions and now they can, but I'm trying to make them realize they'll have more prey when newleaf comes around. They still have the Rushing river which holds fish all year round." she pointed out.

Heronpaw fluffed up his fur angrily and hunched his shoulders up under Owlfoot's, Wolfheart's and his father's gaze. He understood where Hawkstar was coming from but BeachClan had been supporting the AquaClan cats for several moons now and it seemed to him like they were just mooching off Icestar's genorousity.
Coppertail glanced at Owlfoot, his ears perking up at the comment he had made. It seemed that Heronpaw was a right real trouble maker. He felt a nudge in his side and turned to see his brother looking up at the sky. "Look at the moon," Owlspot whispered. Coppertail followed his gaze and saw that stormy clouds were slowly surrounding the moon. The Clans arguing was displeasing StarClan. "Jaystar will have to make his decision quickly," Coppertail meowed, loud enough for the cats around him to hear. "We can only help AquaClan so much."
"Has StarClan shown you anything?" Rainlight asked Quietshadow quietly. At this moment it seemed they would need StarClan to guide them and keep AquaClan safe. Whitestar's offer concerned her more than Hawkstar's offer of sanctuary. Lately she had been having dreams of wandering through the unfamiliar hills surrounding FrostClan's chosen territory. Were they to loose their home too?

Owlfoot looked to teh moon himsel, closing his eyes sadly. He then opened his only good one, turning to look to his leader. He then turned away, turning to stare at Heronpaw, eyeing him with slight dissapointment at his almost hostile behaviour.

Rainwing's eyes brightened. AquaClan? Brackenstripe was in AquaClan! They might have trouble with space, but Brackenstripe...she'd get to see him again! She restrained from bouncing up and down in excitement - that might not go over well with anybody. She stayed silent, watching Hawkstar for more.
Moonstream stayed silent as the cats voiced their doubts and angers. Icestar was kicking out AquaClan. Of course, after so long, it was bound to happen. And Hawkstar was offering a place to stay? The silver she-cat was having trouble wrapping her head around it. She just stared at Icestar and Hawkstar, waiting for one of them to continue.

Jaystar, who had not said anything to this point, pondered over Hawkstar's offer. He didn't want his clan to be a burden, and the new camp might be ready soon, but then again, even if they set up a camp, there would be no prey. "Hawkstar, my clan thanks you for your offer, but we must find a place for my clan to settle. Somewhere beyond the territories. Even if we rebuilt or camp, there would be no prey. I am sorry, but I reject your offer" Jaystar winced as he waited for his clans' reaction

Browntail jumped to his paws. His emotions didn't tell him if he was mad or happy. He wanted a home, but too far away from the clans. He didn't want to live with any of the other clans any more. "But what about Redwind and the elders?" How could Redwind's kit travel, they've only opened their eyes! He looked around than sat back down again. Icestar then spoke. "They kits may stay until they are old enough to travel, like how Squirrelflight had to lay in a old fox den because she gave birth out of camp and it took a moon to get them to travel back to camp. But we will lead a patrol to your 'new' territory once we know where it is," she offered. She new the kits were young and she felt the same way about her kits living in the barn for a moon.

Owlfoot's eyes widened and he turned to gape at Jaystar, eyes wide. Away from clans? How would the attend gatherings? His ears flatted at the thought, but it was soon shaken off. jaystar had made his decision and there was nothing teh RainClan deputy could do to sway another leader's decision.

Hawkstar nodded to Jaystar, his body remaining relaxed and calm. "Do as you wish Jaystar, my offer stands if the other territory doesn't work out. I wish you safe travels and good hunting my friend." he replied, a smile on his face. He caught the expression on his deputy's face and understood his concern. This was risky, but it was Jaystar's decision. He just hoped they would be careful.

Owlspot gritted his teeth. He didn't look this idea. If Redwind couldn't travel with them he would do everything in his power to stay with her. Jaystar could eat crowfood for all he cared, he would not leave his mate and children behind. He also feared for his own life and the Clans. If they were to travel up around RainClan, his father's followers would slaughter them all. Around FrostClan would be safer, only loners and the occasional rogue or runaway kittypet. Coppertail read his thoughts and touched his nose to his brother's shoulder. "Stay," he whispered," Let AquaClan find out for themselves the danger of the rogues." "And let them all be killed?" Owlspot whispered, stunned. He looked at his brother with large muddy-blue eyes. "I couldn't let them die at another's paws, knowing I could of prevented it."
"Well, that's that," Heronpaw meowed with finality. "They're going to die," Tussockwind meowed blandly, no emotion in his voice. He was too tired to care at the moment or worry about a stranger's life. "StarClan watch them," Maplepaw prayed. "May StarClan watch their paths."
Rainlight turned to her fellow medicine cats. "Surely, you've seen something? A new home?" she demanded. "This is horrible. I know AquaClan must find a new home but one wrong turn will surely spell death!"

Blackleaf shook his head at Rainlight. "All I've seen was empty prey in our paws. I can tell you the sight once we start to leave." he whispered into her ear, so no other cat can hear. Skylight walked over to Blackleaf. "Quietshadow? Have you seen a sign?" she meowed, worried. Browntail walked over to Owlspot. "I know I'll be hard for both of us, with Redwind." He sat next to the warrior and looked at him with his one eye. The naked part of his face looked swollen. His brown pelt was covered by blackness. "But I have to leave, you can stay, I know the rouge nest just as well as you do, I'll watch the clan for you," he whispered. 'You can stay with Redwind." he meowed. He new the rouge nest pretty well, but also new the loner's part of the whole base too. "I can show them that barn away from the rouge part, it's by Twoleg place." he meowed. "We can live there for the rest of leaf-bare." The brown warrior shrugged.

"I would like to take a small patrol out first" Jaystar added. "Only two or three warriors and myself. We will travel beyond our territory, but not too far yet, if we find something, we will come back for the rest of the clan, and go together" Jaystar decided. Larchpaw looked up with great concern for his father. He was old, and had few lives left. "May Starclan light your path" He whispered.

"I saw myself in unfamiliar territory, lost," Rainlight whispered back. "FrostClan is going to be effected as well."
Owlspot dipped his head slightly, in respect for the warrior. "The rogue nest is furth up the hillside and to the left. If you can convince Jaystar to keep travelling up or even turn right there should be shelter." Coppertail nodded, visualising the journey. "You could then dip down the hill to the twolegplace...there's a farm there and crops. I suspose you could stay there."
((Wait. Do you want the barn up in the hills near RainClan or up near FrostClan? I always imagined it abandoned but either way, I can put anywhere. ))

Browntail smiled. "I promise to not let anything happen to them, our clanmates." Taking a deep breath he then frowned. "We should go on the patrol with Jaystar and show him those hills." His eye twitched. His other side of his face bothered him, he new a lot of cats looked at him strangely, but not Owlspot for some reason. Icestar looked at Owlspot. "You may stay with your mate, but you will do warrior jobs just like everyone else." she offered. She didn't want to spilt up a father and his kits, she new how it felt with Skylight and Blackleaf leaving her to live in Frostclan, but though she loved being leader.

"Yes, we should try and find some nice rogues to help them," Coppertail agreed. Owlspot would of replied but he was looking up at Icestar. "Thank-you," he meowed," Of course." He turned to look at Jaystar, his leader. "Would that be okay?" he asked.
((Short. Fail ))

"What about Spider and Nightshade. They can help us," Browntail meowed to Coppertail. "I don't think they are in 'Burntclan' anymore." He let out a meow. "Twolegs usually don't have dogs in this part of no cats land. And the one at the farm is old and lazy. We should be fine walking around there. And by the Twoleg place they just have loud monsters on the Thunderpaths and inside their territories." he growled. "Stupid Twolegs."

"That's what they said," Coppertail meowed, shrugging. "I know I'm going to regret this," Owlspot murmured," Just when I think everybody is starting to trust me again I have to open my mouth and remind them of my heritage just to save their lives. Great." "It's not yours," the ginger tom retorted. Owlspot sighed sadly and called out to Jaystar again. "We know some nice rogues! A black and white she-cat and a black tom. One used to be a Clan cat and the other is rather friendly. I'm sure they'll help."
