Icestar walked into the clearing with Coppertail, Stormcloud, Duskfur, Lightstream, and Tigerstripe.
She was the first clan to actually come. "Hmm, first again I see." she meowed. She looked up at the moon. "I wonder." she whispered.
She studied it, Silverpelt was brighter than ever. Is Starclan trying to tell me something? Or are Starclan angry or happy? she asked herself.

Other Leaders post first before other clans get here please!!!! But I'm not sure about Tiger and Frostclan, Rainlight or Flamestep can lead them in......

Rainclan was the second to arrive. Hawkstar padded into the clearing with his group of cats, including Owlfoot, Honeyfrost, Tussockpaw, Woodpaw, Sootpaw, Applesong, and Desertflower. He padded up to Icestar, dipping his head in greeting, smiling warmly. "Hello Icestar, it's good to see you." he said.

Applesong looked around. She turned with a smile to Lightstream and padded over to her. "Hello, Lightstream," she meowed. "How's it going in BeachClan?" Applesong waved her tail and purred.

Owlfoot padded into the clearing behind his leader, eyeing the other cats. He smiled, glad that each one he saw was in excellent health.

Coppertail yawned and felt envious of the warriors who were back at camp. He was so tired. He blinked, trying to push sleep away and gazed across the clearing. Only BeachClan and RainClan had arrived so far. I wonder if Icestar or Jaystar will report the fight at the border and Quailkit's change of Clan...
Honeyfrost left the RainClan group and headed over to see her brother and his Clan. "Do you want to meet Coppertail?" she asked Owlfoot as she walked by. "He is deputy of BeachClan so you two may be leaders together. Best get friendly now." She laughed and bounded away.
Tussockpaw nudged Woodpaw. "This is your first Gathering," he meowed," So I will introduce you to everyone." Using his nose he pointed to a midnight black she-cat. "That's Icestar, leader of BeachClan. Can you see the ginger tom? He's Coppertail and the deputy. Um, I think the tortoiseshells are Duskfur and Lightstream but I don't know who the tom is. I wonder where their apprentices are?"
Desertflower sat down not far from the Great Rock. She was hoping there would be some senior warriors to talk to too. A scent reached her nose, one she hadn't smelled in a long time. Stormcloud..? It was well known knowledge that he was Icestar's mate but he had disappeared when he just a new warrior. She rose to her paws and looked through the groups of cats. "Stormcloud!" she meowed," Long time no see!"
((Icestar should bring the apprentices as it is customary for them to be there when the leader tells the other Clans. Also, medicine cats are meant to come as well. RainClan can be an exception as Wolfheart needs her attention. Sootpaw could come though instead, if it is his first Gathering.))

Icestar smiled at the Rainclan leader. "Nice to see you, how is Rainclan?" she asked calmly. "Beachclan is well, but has a lot to talk about," she growled. "Aquaclan has been giving us fuss." she meowed. She smiled at the young leader. She dipped her head. "Has Frostclan been bothering you? I'm just wondering." she purred.
Stormcloud heard his name. He turned to see his old friend. "Desertflower!!" the black-and-white cat purred. "Yeah, long time no see!" he murmured. "I was able to get loose of the Twolegs and now I'm back in Beachclan!" he purred to the she-cat.

Hawkstar nodded back. "Rainclan is fine, a little trouble, but we're doing well." he may have been young, but he knew not to tell too much about his clan to another clan leader. They were friends and peaceful during the Gathering, but no gossip or unnecessary talk needed to go around about Rainclan. "And no, actually, Frostclan has been quite friendly and helpful." he said, waiting to to tell about the badger later. Then he cocked his head, looking at her curiously. "Why?"

"Aquaclan has faught with us over a fight. We had injured warriors, saying no more till I go to talk." Icestar meowed. She smiled again. Actually a clan that has a leader that knows what to say. she thought. The black leader looked up at the moon. It was almost moonhigh. "Frostclan and Aquaclan need to get here....." she meowed. She was hard to see with her black pelt but she was easier with the moonlight.

Whitestar rushed in, quickly glancing over his shoulder to see that the cats he had brought had come. Okay. Firetail, Rainlight, Blackleaf, Doveheart, Flaxeyes and Skypaw didn't get lost over the stream. He scrambled up on the Highrock and gingerly sat down, hoping not to fall off. "Hey Hawkstar, Icestar," he meowed. "Sorry that we're late. We had to try and ford a stream that was really flooded. It took ages to find a shallow enough spot. How are things going for you?"
Tigerstripe quietly sat down. She wasn't too pleased with the clans about anything. Why were they making such a big mess out of this? Quailkit had obviously left of her free will. "If things keep going like this, I might too," she muttered under her breath.
Thunderpaw joyously bounded in and sat down with the other apprentices. He blinked once and turned to his right. "Hi," he meowed to the sandy tabby tom ((Woodpaw)).
Quietshadow slunk in and took his usual spot near the Highrock; behind where the deputies sat. He then looked over and greeted his fellow medicine cats. "Hello, Rainlight and Blackleaf. How are you two?"

Applesong spotted Doveheart and her fur bristled. Not her again, she thought. After greeting Lightstream, Applesong padded over toward the apprentices. She always enjoyed watching them interact at the gathering.
OOC: sorry I didn't wait for Lightstream to respond; wasn't sure when Loaym's computer would be back up.

Hawkstar frowned at this news, wondering why the two clans had fought? Had they not been on friendly terms before? He was pulled away from his thoughts when Whitestar arrived. He nodded in greeting, smiling to the other tom. "Good. Glad you made it. And your warriors got back safely from their visit?" he asked, making sure the cats who had delivered the warning to his clan had gotten home with no trouble.

Icestar smiled as she saw the Frostclan leader padding into the clearing. She listened to his story and nodded. "Is everyone okay?" she asked nicely. She new Rainclan and Frostclan were getting stronger, though she was getting weaker and weaker. Apprentices need to be trained well! Very well! Then we shall be very strong!!! she thought. Oh no! Now I sound like Tigerstar, wanting power. No, we just need a strong clan.... he thoughts trailed off.
Stormcloud sat next to Blackleaf and Skypaw, who were sitting together at the back. Blackleaf looked at the warrior strangly. "Umm, Hello, my name is Blackleaf and this is my sister Skypaw...." the medicine cat meowed. Stormcloud looked at the two cats. Then his eyes widened. "Blackleaf, is your mother Icestar?" he whispered. "Well, yes," Blackleaf whispered, "but don't tell anyone! Please!" "I won't, I'm your father," Stormcloud whispered. "Stormcloud?" Skypaw meowed. "Shhh!!!" Blackleaf spat. "Yes, it's me, I escaped from the Twolegs." he purred. "How is Frostclan?" he asked. "Good! I think I'm about to become a warrior!" Skypaw meowed. Stormcloud let out a purr.

"Yeah, we're fine," he meowed, calmly glancing from Hawkstar to Icestar. "We haven't seen the badger since; hopefully it's off Clan territory." Whitestar flicked a mosquito off of his hind leg with his tail and continued speaking. "How is BeachClan faring, Icestar?" His tone was light and friendly, as though they were merely warriors discussing the weather and not leaders conversing about their clans.

Jaystar padded into the clearing with his clan. "If anyone asks, tell them Aquaclan is fine. Do not mention what happened at the river" He ordered his clan. "Icestar, Hawkstar, Whitestar" He greeted the leaders formally. "Shall we begin?" His voice rasped, still sore after being thrown in the river twice.

"Hi, Jaystar!" Whitestar meowed happily. "We can start now, I guess."
Rockfang trotted into the clearing surrounding Fourtrees with her head and tail up, as if looking for a fight. She took her spot with the other deputies and turned her attention to the Highrock. She wasn't going to tell Firetail and Owlfoot about what happened; Coppertail already knew.
Quailpaw slunk in, keeping her head down and ears perked. She was rather submissive, seeing as she had two clans who more or less hated her. She sat down next to her brother and sighed. "Hello, Thunderpaw," she meowed miserably.
"Quailpaw? Jaystar accepted you? Why would he do that?" Thunderpaw tilted his head in confusion.
"It's a long story," she sighed.

Larchpaw noticed his siblings. "May I go talk to Quailpaw for a moment Quietshadow?" He asked his mentor. Seeing Quailpaw was safe, he didn't wait for an answer and raced over to her. "Quailpaw!" He exclaimed happily, ignoring the eyes staring at him as cats around him noticed he looked exactly like his father, Jaystar.

"Hi, Larchpaw," Quailpaw mewed happily. She had gotten along best with Larchpaw out of all her siblings. One would even think so; the two were nearly identical. "From what I've heard, the Clans aren't too thrilled with me leaving." Embarrassed, she turned her gaze to the ground.

Icestar nodded to the Aquaclan leader. "You can go last." she insisted. She waved her tail back and foruth. Come on! Lets get going! The moon is setting!! she thought angerly.
Browntail padded into the clearing and sat next to Thunderpaw. "Hi I'm Browntail, and you are?" he meowed. I'm guessing this is his first gathering..... the one eyed tom thought.

Quailpaw sighed and scuffed her paw in the dirt. "I wasn't happy in BeachClan and I can't say that I'm happy here either," she meowed dejectedly. "If things don't work out I'm sure that RainClan or FrostClan will be thrilled to have me. Whitestar and Hawkstar are nice enough, I've heard." She wrapped her tail around her paws.

"Yeah it would appear so" Larchpaw meowed quietly. "I think father's angry with Icestar" He noticed as he watched the leaders.
Jaystar surpressed a hiss. /Last!/ He thought with disgust. He thought about pushing her off the tree(or whatever it is where the leaders are) when Icestar started to speak. /Wouldn't that be a hoot/ he thought grimly as a smug smile crept across his face.

Browntail overheard Quailpaw. "I wouldn't say that, leader's have to do their job, and your just lucky Jaystar let just any Beachclan kit into the clan." he meowed. "But Icestar's a stubborn leader, of what I've heard, she's very good at training cats." he told her. "Whoever gets her as a mentor is the luckiest cat in the world." he meowed.

Quailpaw turned to look at Browntail. "But why wouldn't he let his own daughter into his Clan? And you're right about that," she added, lowering her voice so the leader of her ex-Clan wouldn't hear. BeachClan or not, she still didn't want to provoke the wrath of Icestar.

"Mmmhmmm." Thunderpaw nodded but wasn't really paying any attention--he never did. In fact, he was more focused on a beetle crawling across the dusty ground of Fourtrees.
"Don't mind Thunderpaw," Quailpaw meowed to Browntail. "Yeah, he is. I never really got around to talking because I've been stuck in Father's den for most of the day."

Moonstream padded over to the other medicine cats. "Hello, Rainlight, Quietshadow, Blackleaf. And Sootpaw, of course. Where's Dawnwhisker? I hope nothing's happened in RainClan..." She sat down neatly, wrapping her tail around her paws. "Quietshadow, I hope there aren't any injured warriors from AquaClan and BeachClan's little battle."
Doveheart sighed when she saw Applesong. Why must I keep running into her??? She glanced around hopefully for Ravenclaw but didn't spot him. The black and white warrior's tail drooped in disappointment, and looked around for another Clan cat to chat with. She spotted Lightstream, but stopped her journey over to her as she saw Applesong with her. She looked around again. Duskfur was off all alone, brooding as usual. It's a miracle he had a mate at all with his shyness. Doveheart's eyes finally landed on Tigerstripe and she thankfully slipped between Clan cats to her side.
"Hello, Tigerstripe. How's BeachClan?"
