Icestar walked into the clearing with her clan and sat under the Greatrock.
She waited for the other cats to come. She was also waiting for Burnstar,

Whitefire, along with the other FrostClan cats, padded to Fourtrees and sat down a short distance away from the Greatrock, where the deputy of his Clan would sit. He felt a sense of power surging through his veins. I'm somebody. Watch out.
Rockfang slunk into the clearing and sat down next to Whitefire. She surveyed him with her bright yellow eyes. After a moment or so, she let out a surprised mew. "What are you doing here? Did something happen to Amberwood?" The AquaClan deputy was rather behind the times; nobody had informed them of Oceanstar's death.
Quietshadow politely waited for the other cats to pass, then casually strolled in. He sat down in the rough middle of the clearing, but off to the side where BeachClan would probably be sitting. Tigerstripe followed and sat down away from Quietshadow, closer to AquaClan. Hurry up...

Icestar nodded and greeted the cats.
"Welcome" She smiled. "Is Amberwood ok? Or is she now Amberstar?" she asked.
"Hello Rockfang," she greeted.

Jaystar led part of his clan to the gathering. He was feeling refreshed after sleeping all day. "Visit awhile with the other clans here, if anyone asks, Say Aquaclan is well" He meowed after dissapearing into the crowd of cats, making his way to the spot where the leaders met.

"Hi, Icestar," Rockfang mewed politely. Her tail was tucked around her paws. "Still tired, Jaystar?"
Whitefire smiled proudly. "Amberstar's leader now. She should be here any minute now. And I'm deputy," he added.
Tigerstripe sighed, discontent. She padded over towards Quietshadow and the other, hoping to catch Jaystar's attention.

"I'm fine Rockfang" Jaystar meowed. He spotted Tigerstripe and padded over to her. "Hello" He meowed "Good to see you" He meowed friendly.

"We havn't heard anything from Rainclan. Should we start without them again?" she asked Jaystar,
"I would like to, we started before sunrise last gathering." she meowed.

Rockfang nodded and gave her paw a quick lick. Whitefire turned his head behind him and nearly fell over. "Rockfang, I have something on my back and I can't reach it. Help!"
The she-cat rolled her eyes and, with one claw, flicked the tick off his back. "Ugh," she grunted, disgusted.
Tigerstripe smiled. "I've been...good. How about you?"

Tigerstripe's expression changed rapidly from one of admiration to an air of complete shock. "Wow...I hope they fail. Icestar--" She stopped. "I don't know if she wants anyone outside of the Clan to know. I trust you, but her and Coppertail are already mad at me. I don't want to get in more hot water." The tabby warrior sighed.

"Why would any cat be mad at you?" Jaystar cocked his head. "Meet me after the gathering will you please?" He asked Tigerstripe, his eyes and pelt glittering in the moonlight, making him look like a Starclan cat.

"It's a long story," she mewed, exasperated. "I will." Tigerstripe slunk back to her spot among the BeachClan cats. This was going to be a long Gathering, she could tell.

"Sure," Tigerstripe mewed politely. She was glad that there were still some cats in BeachClan who didn't think she was crazy. Well, if Silentmask did, he sure wasn't showing it.

Jaystar took his place at fourtrees. He scanned the crowd of waiting cats for the rogues. He didn't see them yet though, and he hoped he wouldn't. "Starclan help us all" He prayed silently.

A slender golden tabby parted the bushes and stepped out into the clearing, her icy blue eyes sweeping over the Gathering place, and taking in the new arrivals. But the bush from where she parted did not still; behind her another lithe tabby slid out and into the clearing, this one dark and stout. Adderstrike blinked awkwardly, taking in the scene before him. He never really liked Gatherings- there were too many cats, and often there was tensions. But beside him his sister was already scenting the air, seeking out cats she knew, and gazing excitedly around. Adderstrike knew she was itching to be off, but she stopped herself to glance at her brother. He brislted as he saw concern and a hint of pity in her gaze.
"Will you be alright?" she checked, flicking his ear affectionately.
"Of course I will be! I'm not a lost apprentice," Adderstrike hissed, hackles raised defensively. He knew she only meant it in the most innocent way possible, but he coudn't help snapping at her. Tawnyfeather shrugged before padding off towards Tigerstripe and Silentmask with a friendly wave of her tail. Adderstrike stayed where he was.

Whitefire turned around. "Oooh, RainClan's here now! Do we get to start soon?"
"Hello," Tigerstripe mewed calmly. "It's nice to see that RainClan won't miss the Gathering like last time."

"Yes" Silentmask looked up at the Aquaclan leader. His head was slitely bowd. "What's wrong with Jaystar? He seems distraught" Silentmask asked Tigerstripe.

"Burntstar and his cats kind of want to, uh, kill him," she mewed in an undertone. "He might tell the other leaders, but I doubt anyone else. I don't know if Icestar wants to know or not." Tigerstripe looked around for any sign of the rogue cats.

Tawnyfeather looked at Tigerstripe in surprise. "Kill him? That's gotta be..." she trailed off, certain they could understand the meaning without her saying it aloud.

Icestar walked over to Tigerstripe, "We're going to be ready to start soon, I saved you a front row seat." she told her. "Would you like to sit with Quietshadow and Blackpaw?" she asked. Then she turned and stared at the little apprentice.
Blackpaw turned to see Icestar staring at him. He smiled. Then he looked away. He new her secret but he wasn't allowed to say one peep to anyone, Skypaw new but it was really a blur, but she also new it. He sighed. "Hey Quietshadow, is there anything going on with Icestar, I would like to talk to her," he whispered.

Tigerstripe nodded. "Can Silentmask come too? He invited me to sit by him, and we're both part of the Clan..."
Quietshadow leaned over to Blackpaw. He didn't know if he could trust the apprentice, seeing as he was from FrostClan, but then he remembered that Blackpaw was Rainlight's apprentice. He whispered back: "Well...Icestar is going to die. I don't think that you should tell anyone else besides Rainlight. All of BeachClan knows. I don't think she'd mind if you talked with her."

Jaystar lashed his tail nervously waiting for the gathering to begin. So far he could see no sign of the rogues. He let out a short sigh of relief and relaxed a little, but he still looked tense.

Icestar listened to the warrior, "Oh course he can, go ahead, just don't make it so crowded up there," she meowed.
She looked at Blackpaw once more, then glanced away.
"Ok. That would be easy to talk to her, I'm allowed into Beachclan camp so it doesn't matter," he meowed. "No! I didn't say it, Ok! Don't tell! Me and my sister have a secret that can't be heard," he whispered.

Quietshadow perked up an ear but asked no more. Tigerstripe trotted up to join the others, with a flick of her tail beckoning Silentmask forward. Whitefire yawned. "Ugh. When is this gonna start?"
Rockfang glanced at him with disdain. "Wait, will ya?" she snapped.

Coppertail slipped through the bushes to stand at the base of the Great Rock. His amber eyes gazed around the clearing, trying to spot his siblings. He wanted to tell them that he had been made deputy. Rainlight stood beside her apprentice. "I have to go stand with Whiteifre," she whispered in his ear," Why don't you go sit with the RainClan apprentices." She indicated to a cream tom and a ginger mottled tabby. They were chatting to themselves and walking over to where Adderstrike stood. Orchidtail was not far from them, Faunus at her side. The tom had spent the last moon recovering with clan and now bore their scent. "Why did I have to come?" he whispered.
"Because you need to tell the cats your story. AquaClan needs to know about the cat you found," she replied," Plus, we need to get rid of Honeyfrost. Hopefully her family will be here."
Faunus grimaced and tried to look like a clan cat and not some rogue. Cat's were starting to stare.
