Raskell's tail drooped as he trudged through the forest. I miss Cookie and I miss the youngest kit, and I miss the female, and I miss my family! I never should have come here...I should have listened to Cookie when she said that the woods were bad. Raskell let out a huge sigh. "Cookie and I've never been seperated, did you know that? I came out a couple moments before her, then she came. We nursed together, side by side, with our other littermates, and when we were sold, it was lucky for us that they wanted two, or I'd never've seen her again. She's my best friend..." He trailed off. "You promise you won't kill me? I'd hate to think I'd never see her or my housekit ever again."

"I won't kill you, but I warn you, never go into a clan's territory. They probably will. FrostClan, I don't really know, but you should still stay off their territory." Hazel meowed. She was leading the way. Why am I leading the way? I haven't seen Dream in awhile, she goes from place to place. I don't know where she is. Spider should be the one leading. She looked back at Nightshade and Spider and stopped. "Are you guys coming?"

"Do I have to?" Nightshade asked, voice carrying a distinctly whiny tone. "I'm from a clan and I was raised by the warrior code, which says that I'm supposed to reject the life of a kittypet. I still don't like being anywhere close to twolegs." She winced at the very thought of being a kittypet.

"No, but Spider might have to." Hazel meowed. She glanced over at Spider. "Spider, do you know where Dream is? If so, your leading the way. If not, I can just take the kittypet home." I really don't need this kittypet to keep complaining. Though, I do understand if he just wants to be with his family. She sighed.

"Do you know Dream, Raskell?" Spider asked," She's a grey and white tabby with bright blue eyes." He padded ahead of Hazel, taking the lead. "Come one Nightshade, you promised her you would visit. Plus, Dream isn't like other kittypets. She's wild like you and me." He flicked his tail and approached the back fences of the twoleg nests. "Look familar Raskell?"

"Gray fur? I saw gray fur! That's what made me come over to this horrible place!" Raskell mewed. He then took in the backyard fences. "I'm almost home. My house doesn't have a fence though..." Raskell's eyes brightened immediately as they padded through the houses, in search of the mysterious gray-furred cat.

"Ohhhh," Nightshade meowed before hurrying to catch up with the others. "Yeah, I remember Dream. She's the one who got into a fight with that big scary tortoiseshell at the battle, right? She really tore up that other cat but she--the Clan one--bit Dream in the knee so we had to help her home."

Raskell decided to just listen to the strange, hero cats that were bringing him home. But soon enough, his mind wandered and all he could think about was his bed and Cookie and the youngest kit, the one he called his mom. "What will Dream do to me?"

"She'll probably just give you a herb for your paw," Spider replied. He jumped up onto the fence and perched himself neatly on one othe posts. "Come on Nightshade," called," You're memory is getting away on you. Dream is my sister and yes, she was the one who attacked that tortoiseshell."

"Well, maybe I'm not good at remembering," she countered. "And what use is remembering stuff anyways. Oh...I see. Yeah, I guess it's pretty important..." Nightshade smiled nervously and glanced back at Raskell.

Raskell tried to stifle a yawn, realizing how tired, how hungry, and how much his paws hurt. He sighed, letting his tail droop even more, skimming the nasty, dirty sidewalk with his long fluffy white hair. "Are we there yet?" he whined. Not only was he starving and craving his food, he was thirsty. Very thirsty.

Hazel could hear Raskell's stomach growl. She scented the air. "Have you ever tried a mouse before?" She heard something rustle in the undergrowth. She tried too hear where it was coming from. She turned to her right and suddenly leaped at the sound. She had caught a juicy, plump mouse. She padded over to Raskell and dropped the mouse at his paws. 'Try it." She had meowed to the hungry tom.

Raskell sniffed it cautiously. He reeled backward at the stench of blood but took a small bite of it. It definitely wasn't his favorite food, but he was starving, so he'd eat anything. He gulped the rest of it down. "Thanks, Hazel." They continued padding along.
