We have a few main plots going on. The Burntstar's Fanclub plot is slowly falling into place as the involved kits are starting to be apprenticed and learn more about their idol to-be.
BeachClan is on the verge of attacking FrostClan. What will happen to the snowfaring cats if their sand-dwelling rivals succeed in their offensive? And what would this mean for the other clans?
AquaClan is still reeling from the destruction of their entire territory in a forest fire. However, spring is on the way, so the new shoots of green poking through the ash may finally be a sign that everything is going to be all right. They have been living in the no-cat's-land for about six moons now...

FrostClan has recently suffered a small snowstorm; expect sleeting and thick frost. RainClan is finding thick frost in the higher parts of the forest but it is quickly melting where the sun's rays reach it. BeachClan has a splattering of snow but it is relatively sunny with cold sea breezes. AquaClan is finding the same in their territory with morning frost preventing any new growth. Expect more rain and snow at higher levels.
Non-clan cats joining clans (this includes clan cats who were formerly rogues, loners, or kittypets).
Appearance; x.[eyes] Her eyes are light brown, for the most part, with dashes of a darker, amber shade around the pupils. The color variation creates a small amount of depth, though it's hardly prominent. In shape, they are a bit more almond-shaped than average - though they do seem so suit her narrow face. Though her eyes are not deeply set, they are surrounded by small frames or darker fur that can cause them to look as such. x.[ears] In size, Pine Needles' ears are quite proportianate to her head; they do not appear to be too large or too small. When looking at her head from the front, they tip slightly to the side rather than sticking directly upward. Her prickly fur causes small tufts to appear at the tip of each one, with the tuft on her left ear being a bit longer. The inner sides of her ears are, as in many cats, a pale shade of pink. x.[face] The profile of this cat's face reveals a long, narrow muzzle - framed with spiky fur, and ending in a small pink nose. Her entire face is set quite high up on her head, giving her a small forehead. Her whiskers are clearly visible against her face, and those above her eyes are longer than usual. x.[build] She is quite a big cat, with a long body and legs - however, she is also small-boned and thin, allowing for speed and mobility. With small muscles, she has to rely on such things to make up for her lack of strength. Her tail is long and whiplike, getting much narrower toward the end. x.[fur-texture] For the most part, Pine Needles' name came from the texture of her fur. As she moves about, the long, straight hairs along her back and across her shoulders stick out, creating a jagged, prickly look. When emotions such as excitement cause her fur to stand up higher than usual, she can look a bit like a pine tree. x.[fur-colour] Pine Needles is a golden-brown tabby with thin, dark brown stripes that become even thinner as they reach her face and tail. Around her shoulders and back legs, these stripes seem to 'dissolve' - or, rather, they break up into a mottled pattern before disappearing completely. The darkest parts of her fur are the stripes around her tail, and, oddly enough, the small rings around her eyes.
Personality; x.[in general] Around nearly everyone, Pine Needles displays a witty, somewhat tomboyish attitude. She's very competitive in a playful sort of way, but tries not to take anything too seriously. There are times, however, when this can become carelessness and lead to procrastination. She has a tendency to make situations smaller than they are to keep herself feeling tough and confident - everything from battles to other cats' problems becomes I-can-tackle-this material. She's the type to get herself caught up way over her head in situations she fist underestimated, and the type to put off smaller jobs until it's too late. It takes something pretty big to make her as cautious as she should be. x.[the guild] Despite her overconfidence, Pine Needles is a quite a good hunter and fighter who works hard to make a contribution to the Guild. She's decisive, yet is able to think clearly and keep an open mind; she wouldn't be too bad a mediator. While taking pride in her position as the Guide-learner, she does not consider herself superior because of it, being well aware that even the Guide only finalizes the Guild's decisions. Though she does have many qualities that would make her a good Guide, she still has much to learn. Her impulsive tendencies often get the better of her, and, though she feels respect toward her superiors, this does not always come across. x.[love] Love? Ha! That's for cats with too much time on their paws. As the Guide-learner, Pine Needles is too busy for love. That's what she's lead herself to believe so far, anyway. She's still young, and her opinions may change. x.[inside] Very little of this cat's personality is kept to herself, as she really is quite open. She voices her thoughts aloud rather than keeping them locked in, and whatever secrets she may keep are likely others' rather than her own. However, like any cat, she has feelings, and there are emotions she tries not to show - weakness and sadness, and anger to a certain extent.
History; For a Guild cat, Pine Needles hasn't had a particularly tragic life, nor a particularly exciting one. Granted, she is still quite a young cat. x.[kithood] She was born into the second litter of Long Grass and Blue Light. As her mother preferred that her kits stay safe in the nursery, Pine Needles spent much of this time arguing with her littermate, Brown Stone; at the time, both were determined to someday become advisors. .x[guild learner] Pine Needles learned much of her hunting and defense skills from a cat called Windy Night. She was a nuisance a lot of the time, getting into trouble more often than not. At seven moons, she ran way hoping to go on an 'adventure' and forgot to tell anyone. When she came back a whole day later, her rather overprotective mother talked to Windy Night, and convinced him to let her watch her training from then on. She was quite annoyed at this, naturally. Aside from that, however, her apprenticeship was quite normal - oh, wait. There was one more thing, the sickness that spread amongst the learners. It happened not too long after her little trip; she was still rather young. Though she did develop a slight cough, she was amongst those who were lucky enough not to become seriously ill. There were cats who had died from the disease, however - cats who had trained alongside her. It was the only time, you could say, that she truly broke down. How could such a thing have possibly happened? Still, it didn't take long for her to become her daring, optimistic self again - and because of it, she was accused by her brother of not caring. .x[guide-learner] The death of the Guide, Bracken's Thorn, came upon the Guild rather suddenly. Pine Needles had never thought that Long Cloud, her quiet denmate, would have been able to take over his position so soon! Still, she was thrilled to be chosen as his learner, and has never really minded the fact that he is only a few moons older than she is. Her brother, Brown Stone, constantly reminds her that she's going to be a learner forever, but she figures his taunts are spurred on mainly by jealousy.
Other; Pine Needles will be roleplayed in the same colour as this text. FF4400. I've been working on this for a long time, but I know it isn't as fancy as most of the other guild apps. Dx Sorry.
